5.00Radoslav is an extremely likable guy, very warm and friendly, very polite, fluent in English and a great story-teller. This is not your typical tasting session, it is like sitting at a table with your local Bulgarian friend. Take my advice while you are there and take advantage of his wide local knoweledge for things to do and places to go during your stay in Sofia. And don't let the dodgy entrance put you off - many buildings in Sofia are like that - Radoslav's apartment is cozy and elegant. We were 3 guests and Radoslav, and we all had a really lovely time with lots of laughs and a very warm feeling in the end. Of course rakia has played its part, we had the chance to try 5 (or 6?) different rakia bottles of premium quality and some really tasteful local cold cuts. Overall a really memorable experience. 5.00Radoslav provided an amazing selection of quality Rakia. The pickles and cured meats were the perfect accompaniment. While we sipped, he provided recommendations for other places and activities to check out around Sofia, and showed videos of some places too.

5.00Our tour turned out to be amazing—far beyond our expectations. We initially thought it would be just a simple food and wine tasting, but it ended up being surprisingly incredible. Radoslav is an exceptional host and storyteller who generously shares his deep knowledge, from the history and aging of Rakia to the premium cold cuts and cheeses he serves. He also gives thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, including the best times and seasons to go. Throughout the experience, it felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed by a longtime friend into his country, sharing stories and travel life along the way. I highly recommend this tour, especially as the perfect way to cap off your last night in Sofia, Bulgaria, before heading home.

5.00He surprised us by figuring out we are Filipinos and greeted us “Mabuhay” and from there, we already feel warmly welcomed. He lived in the Philippines for 7yrs and learned our language, lived and traveled our beautiful places and he made us feel at home in his country. The rakija taste testing together with the chosen meat & cheese slices and this spicy paste with bread sticks are perfect together with lots of warm stories of life. Thank you for the best homey experience with Bulgarian taste, Radoh. The price we paid for is so worth it! Me and my friend felt very much accommodated. Highly recommended to everyone who wants some good, amazing time while having the best taste o f Bulgaria’s food and wine. Maraming salamat! Hanggang sa muli, pre!

5.00Radoslav was a wonderful host. Don't let yourself get scared off by the creepy entrance to the house, he was very welcoming and told us a lot about traditional food and of course rakia.
