Just being surrounded by some of the best vineyards on earth, along with the fall colors following the harvest. Eric was a superb guide and virtually an encyclopedia on the subject of of the vineyards, the appellations and wine making.

The info describing this trip is deceiving. First off, the group includes people with e-bikes and those without. So those with e-bikes easily made it up the hills (yes, there are quite a few hills, something the tour description doesn’t include). The tour guide rode way ahead with the e-bikes leaving the couple of us without them way behind.

Paul was great. Very knowledgeable in explaining all aspects of growing grapes, regions, as well as the wine making process. The e-bikes were a welcome travel mode and a must. We enjoyed a nice wine and cheese break and later stopped for a delicious lunch at a restaurant. All in all a wonderful day.
