This is a group class conducted in English and you are going to taste 4 different dishes.
You will also enjoy the Korean tea ceremony and receive a recipe and certificate.
After the cooking class, you are going to tour the 100-year-old Bupyeong Food Market with the chef to learn about Busan's ingredients and food culture. Also, you can get help with buying food products i.e Korean sauce if you want.

This is a cooking class and traditional market tour conducted by a professional Korean food chef who graduated from the most prestigious Korean cuisine culinary school in Korea. The chef speaks fluent English, she has a big passion for sharing a unique local food culture! In this class, you will be able to learn about Korean food and food culture in general and make delicious Busan local food using the freshest seafood in town under the guidance of an experienced local chef. Then you will enjoy your creation accompanied by local rice wine, and finish the course with Korean tea ceremony. After the meal, you are going to over 100 years old traditional market with a chef and get to know about local culture and local delicacies! In the end, you’ll receive the recipe, and be all set to impress family and friends back at home with your Korean dishes!

5.00I highly recommend this cooking course! The place is easy to find, the premises is clean. The dishes we prepared were delicious. My level of English is not very high but I understood the exchanges perfectly. We cooked in a good mood. It was very nice! Things to do in Busan! Remember to book in advance! Thank you Heeyoung 🤗 PS: Heeyoung has an exceptional course! She knows what she's talking about. Not to mention that she has a definite gift for sharing her knowledge and culture. She loves what she does and you can feel it! The + of this course: visit the market after cooking!

5.00Heeyoung was delightful! We enjoyed hearing her wealth of knowledge about Korean cooking, history, and culture. We wish we'd done this at the start of our trip because the insight she gave us into Korean cuisine would have helped us appreciate our meals there more. The market tour afterward was also very fun.

5.00This cookery class was part of an 8 day tour of South Korea. We had an amazing time learning all about Korean food. Heeyoung shared videos with us of the processes of making different soy based sauces used in Korean cooking, and even gave us the opportunity to do a comparison taste test! We cooked 2 dishes together, both of which we feel confident to repeat (plus we were sent instructions to help!) It was a really good end to our trip and Heeyoung was friendly and enthusiastic about what she does! We enjoyed hearing all about the things she has done around the world with her cooking!

5.00We had the best time! Heeyoung is amazing at explaining the instructions and making sure we knew what was going on. She didn’t rush us at all, and was very go with the flow. She also did a good job at interacting with us, and engaging everyone in the group. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking into learning how to make traditional food!
