Bulguksa Temple
Bulguksa is basically the 'must-see' spot in Gyeongju. It’s a massive temple complex with beautiful gardens, colorful buildings, and some really famous stone pagodas. We’ll wander through the grounds, snap some great photos, and I’ll show you the hidden details most people miss. It’s the perfect place to just soak in the ancient Korean vibes and relax for a bit.
Seokguram
Ready for a little mountain air? We’ll take a scenic walk up to Seokguram Grotto to see one of Korea’s most famous national treasures. It’s a peaceful, hidden cave temple with a massive stone Buddha looking out over the mountains. I’ll tell you all the cool stories about how they built this masterpiece over 1,000 years ago without any modern tech. The view from the top is definitely worth the walk!

Let me start by saying he is a great driver, which was the part I was most worried about in Korea since I had some very bad drivers before. He explains every spot and lets you take your time at your own pace, unlike bus tours where you have to wait for everyone or rush around. The van is comfortable, he provides water, and he speaks good English. It was a good, affordable tour, and we were able to see a lot of places in just one day. Just be aware that you’ll be back after dark since the last stop is at sunset. Just do it. You don’t have to spend time googling and figuring out what to do — it’s easy, convenient, and not that expensive.
