  Absolutely must! This painting class was incredibly entertaining, full of very nice conversations and painting was so much fun! The instructions were very patient and nice and the results are beautiful! I don't think there is a nicer souvenir from Korea or Busan. Thank you for this great experience!!

  The painting class was exactly what I expected and more! Jinhee has a lot of knowledge which she gladly shares with you~ she was very patient with me and encouraged me a lot. I fully enjoyed painting together with her and I absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to dive deeper into korean culture. Thank you again so much for making my trip a lot more special with this workshop 🥰

  This was honestly one of the most wholesome experiences of my 9-day solo trip to South Korea. Jinee was so welcoming and open, and through conversation and while painting a beautiful piece of Korean-style art, I learnt a lot about Korean culture and history. I also ended up buying a beautiful art piece made by Jinee herself, as the class is in her lovely art studio in the heart of Gimcheon culture village. Would highly, highly recommend this experience if you’re looking for the perfect combination of doing something local, artsy, and to meet some wonderful people. Thank you again Jinee, and also to your wonderful husband!

  We were greeted very friendly and warmly, there were insights into the history of Korean painting, questions were answered in detail. It was a very pleasant and "decelerated" time while painting. We were able to choose the motives and were very well guided. It is really worth booking this course! Tips for activities and good restaurants included:) If you want to have your picture framed this costs 5000 krw per picture and you have to plan about 1 hour extra in which this is done - we ate a beef soup in the nearby restaurant on recommendation and were thrilled

  I absolutely loved this workshop with Kim Jinee! She was so thoughtful with her tips and patient as a teacher. Lovely to learn about the folklore of the painting and about her life as an artist. Cannot recommend this highly enough, especially as a solo tourist, it's a wonderful way to bring feeling and community to experiencing Gamcheon. And speaking of, check out the cafe and small restaurant beside Jinee's workshop, they are also AMAZING!

  This was a wonderful experience! I love to paint and wanted to get more experience, and so was very intrigued when I saw this experience available. Jinee was a great teacher and was very clear in her instructions, especially with the fine details, and she and her husband were very warm and fun to talk to throughout the experience. Jinee’s workshop also has tons of beautiful paintings done by Jinee that are worth the visit alone to see. The was easily a highlight of my trip in Busan!

  We absolutely loved the class! It was such a fantastic experience, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. The place has such a cozy vibe and is filled with the teacher's beautiful artwork—just spectacular! We can't wait to come back for more!

  We had a great time. We learned about folk paintings while working for about two hours. (It was new for me, even though I am Korean.) The studio was nice, the instructions were kind and professional. We enjoyed Korean culture well in Gamcheon Culture Village without getting bored. Recommend it!

  Jinee and her husband Moon are wonderful people. So welcoming and kind hearted. We learned so much about the art as well as history of the country and local area. She is a wonderful artist and is definitely a must do experience in Busan. Will definitely be back and hope to see them soon. -Sarah and Tom
