2 hour family fun day out. We cruise the Terranora Lakes and participate in fishing, yabbie pumping, and crabbing.
Gather the squad and join us for a hands on, 2 hour adventure cruise on the Tweed River. Throw a line and see who catches the most fish. Get your feet wet walking on the sandbars and shallow waters to pump yabbies. Help pull up the crab pots and see if we caught any crabs, then enjoy a short interactive show on the mighty mud crab. Catch your breath and sit back and enjoy a morning tea while you cruise the beautiful water ways of the Terranora Lakes. The last stop is to feed the pelicans, this is a great photo opportunity also an amazing chance to get up close to these huge birds. 5.00This is a great activity to do with primary age children. My grandkids had a great time. The guide was engaging. The activities were appropriate for kids. The hot lemon myrtle tea was a great start to the day. Eating crab after pulling the mud crabs out of the traps was great. Queenslanders - be careful of the timing. The first email said they operate on NSW time and the second that they operate on Qld time. Fortunately, the park where you meet had plenty to occupy the children during our 2-hour wait.
Fun for the whole family, you can watch or be involved.

5.00Our whole family enjoyed Eric talking about crab catching, yabby pumping, pelican feeding & fishing. Which we all experienced. 10am-12noon NSW time, we caught a 16 minute bus ride to Kennedy road. Heads up you need cash for bus, as party qld/ NSW border we came from Coolangatta. Ate oysters & fresh crab. 9 yr old ate the fruit loaf & bread. We brought with us some crackers & suggest wearing swimmers & thongs. Crabs lay 1-8 million eggs etc we all loved the 2 hrs for different reasons.
A 5 star tour for families.

5.00Really great tour. 2hrs just right for group of 6 across 3 generations. Relaxing for the oldies and kept the kids busy and entertained. They fit a lot into 2hrs!

5.00Great 2 hour trip on the beautiful river. Great time for the kids in particular. Crab fishing, rod fishing, feeding the pelicans and more. Happy fun staff. Highly recommend.

5.00This tour was fantastic. The Tweed Eco Cruise team went above and beyond in the lead up to the tour and on the day to make it a great event. We took four kids with us and they all enjoyed every second of it. Would definitely recommend it. Great value, great fun. Thanks team!

2.00Unfortunately it was disappointing and not up to the standard of last June’s (2021) cruise. It seemed to be run by different people. Last year’s day out was great and lunch was exceptional. This is why we used our Dine and Discover vouchers.

5.00This was an excellent experience for a family with small kids right through to teens. Greeted by the very friendly and welcoming operator. We feed pelicans, caught a crab & fished. We all caught fish which was great ✅ would definitely recommend 10/10!

4.00This was an easy going morning. Fun for all ages. Mixture of yabby catching, pulling up some crab nets and fishing. Alongside some some Education. We got to sample the crabs which we caught which was a bonus.
