  My tour guide, Kevin, was superb. He drove a beautiful Tesla car and was a great guide. He is a Victoria native, so he really knows the area and the history of the land. He took me to Butchart Gardens and offered to walk with me since I was solo, which I thought was a very nice gesture, but I preferred to go on my own. After the Gardens he took me all over the island pointing out both landmarks and items in the natural world. I really enjoyed talking with him and learning more about Canada and Victoria. If you have a chance to have him as your guide, jump on it. You will not be disappointed.

  Kevin’s knowledge, training, and experience combine with his compassion to create a great tour. I am obsessed with gardens and volunteer in a large public garden in Hawaii. Shortly before the trip, I tweaked a tendon and was having trouble walking. Kevin borrowed a wheelchair at Butchart Gardens and wheeled me through, making it possible to not only enjoy the garden in comfort but also conserve my energy for the other gardens we visited.

  We loved our day with Kevin! Prompt pickup, safe driving, lots of great scenic detours and local knowledge. The lunch and tasting at Sea Cider were excellent, and Kevin surprised us with a gin tasting in Sidney at the end of the tour. Above and beyond our expectations! Highly recommend.

  These gardens are not to be missed! Absolutely gorgeous. Caution to those who will push wheelchairs-it is extremely difficult to push the chairs up and down the uneven grounds.

  Mark is a wonderful guide—engaging, knowledgeable and flexible with your schedule. Riding in a Tesla was an extra perk to the tour. The Butchart Gardens are the most impressive garden that I have ever seen.

  It's a super quiet place, there were hardly any people and any corner inside the garden is perfect for taking the best pictures. You don’t need to hire a guide, as the visit from the moment you enter you can take the paths you want without risk of getting lost.

  If you're going to Vancouver, set aside a day to visit Victoria. You should look for BC Ferries, to go by ferry. Although there are also options to go by hydrofoil. Being in victory, look for tours to Butchart garden. It costs about 30 Canadian dollars to enter. It's worth it!
