A unique way of learning the painful history of Belfast, whilst also getting a better understanding of why things are the way they are. I appreciated the insight of our guide, and highly recommend this tour!

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Danny L from Cab Tours Belfast. From start to finish, he was friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing Belfast’s history. Danny took us through the troubled areas of the city and showed us places we would never have discovered on our own. His insight into Belfast’s past and present was fascinating, and he brought the stories and history to life in a way that was both informative and engaging. What really set Danny apart was how helpful he was beyond the tour itself. He recommended that we visit Crumlin Road Gaol afterwards and even drove us there, took us inside, showed us where to go, and helped us get our tickets. He also suggested what we should do after the prison visit, and we followed his recommendations exactly—which made for a perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and his local knowledge was invaluable. We learned so much and saw parts of Belfast that we would never have experienced without him. We would 100% recommend Danny L and Cab Tours Belfast to anyone visiting Belfast. Thank you, Danny, for making our day so memorable. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Your knowledge, friendliness, and genuine enthusiasm made Belfast’s history come alive for us. A truly outstanding experience from start to finish. Helen and Nigel

A must for anyone looking for some insight/education about ‘The Troubles’. Our guide Brian, was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions (of which I had many) and was more than happy for our ride to go over time. He even recommended an amazing pub and dropped us off there at the end. Thank you so much Brian! My husband and I now have a much better understanding of and appreciation of your beautiful country (it’ll always be Ireland to me). I can’t recommend enough!!

Our guide and driver, Tom, was early for our hotel pickup (a good thing) and was an excellent guide/teacher/narrator. He took two couples back in time to the start of The Troubles and showed us all of the important locations where events happened. We saw murals, memorial gardens, and gates that are opened and closed at set times, even now. We could not have asked for a better tour.

It’s difficult to put in to words how much my friend and I enjoyed the tour that Stevie gave us. I thought I knew quite a bit about The Troubles, but Stevie’s insight and depth of knowledge blew us away. Stevie remained neutral and fair, historically and factually accurate, and struck just the right balance between humor and somberness. Could not recommend this tour more!!!
