  A bit of a walk once outside the cruise terminal so if walking is an issue you may want to go with someone at the terminal. Competing company staff were all helpful pointing us in the right direction. Once we found it, our reserved cart was ready for us and it was clean and all worked out well

  The cart was missing a side mirror on the right and the rear mirror was very hard to see out of. A loud growling sound started in the rear of cart It made it back but was concerning.

  Conveniently located just outside the port. Golf carts were in good shape and fueled up for the drive. Super easy check-in and checkout process.

  Cactus carts were awesome! Our cart was fueled up to full when we got it and we didn’t have any issues while we were out. I highly recommend them, it’s the best way to get around the island! Special shoutout to Jeef!!

  Cactus Rentals was easy to find outside the cruise terminal. Quick process, cart was in great shape, fairly new. Return was quick and easy as well. Would definitely use again and can recommend with confidence.

  Very polite and easy-going young man offered us a couple of carts to choose from. They all appeared to be in good shape, and the one we chose had no issues (we toured the whole island a couple of times). The walk to the carts was very reasonable (probably less than 10 minutes if you don’t stop to take pictures of everything like we did, lol). Overall a great experience, and one we hope to do again!

  We really enjoyed our time on Grand Turk! The island is home to approximately 5,000 people, and from tip to tip, is only 7 miles long. We rented a golf cart from Cactus Carts, who operates from just outside of the cruise port. It was a short, few minute walk to get to Cactus Carts and a nice young man was very helpful by showing us how to operate their carts, and he provided a trip-fold map and pointed out things to try and see while cruising around the island. Thankfully, he reminded us that they drive on the left side of the road on Grand Turk! We took our time, cruising around and stopped a a couple of deserted beaches that we had all to ourselves. I remembered to bring my snorkel and mask and by pure luck, the second beach stop had a sunken barge approximately 50 yards of shore and I was able to see hundreds of beautiful fish around the sunken structure. A fellow cruiser had told us about the “many” donkeys throughout the island, and she recommended that we stop at a market and buy carrots to feed the donkeys. We really enjoyed interacting with the donkeys, but a couple pieces of advice… don’t approach them from behind as they may get scared and kick. The other advice is to not let them sneak up behind you. We stopped at the lighthouse at the tip of the island and there were many donkeys in the parking lot, hoping to get carrots. My wife was feeding a half dozen and didn’t see the one coming from behind and to get her attention, he bit her in the back. She has a nasty bruise from the bite! We would absolutely do this again, as even with the stops, including local markets inside and outside of the port, we were done in 3.5 hours.

  Very professional. Clean cart. easy pick up and drop off. Jeff waited for us to drop off at the end of the day. Ideal way to get round the island.
