• Santa Teresa hot spring deserved the visit!

  My tour was originally rescheduled from Monday to Wednesday by the operating company because there were not enough participants for the original date. However, on the day of the tour, I found out that the other guest had canceled at the last minute, meaning I was the only participant. I really appreciated that the agency was still responsible enough to make the tour happen even for just one person. The tour started at 7 AM, with Diego Gomez serving as both the tour guide and driver. He picked me up directly from my hotel, and we visited all the places listed in the itinerary. Only one activity was included at Cafe Albania, but I paid an extra $10 for the rainbow slides, which I honestly found much more fun than the surfing board activity. In Ataco town, Diego explained the meaning behind the famous downtown mural, which gave me a much deeper understanding of Salvadoran culture and mythology. He also took me to a souvenir shop where I found some beautiful art pieces that I absolutely loved. The highlight of the tour for me was the Santa Teresa hot springs. The water felt amazing, and I spent about three hours there feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. But be careful in the restaurant, my packed food was stolen by a wandering dog, but the restaurant agreed to compensate me for some chicken strips. We returned to the hotel around 4 PM. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation, especially if you enjoy hot springs.

  Josue was an amazing tour guide!! He was very knowledgeable about the history of El Salvador. Josue was also an amazing camera man making sure we all got great pictures! We had plenty of time to enjoy each destination. Definitely 10/10 experience!!

  We had a really nice time taking the tour. The driver was awesome. I would highly recommend it and it was worth the experience. We stayed at each location just the perfect amount of time.

  Diego G. was an amazing tour guide and honestly one of the highlights of our trip to El Salvador. He took my friend and me to Café Albania, Ataco for ATV riding, and the Santa Teresa hot springs, and everything was perfectly planned. He was super knowledgeable about the area, very attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. On top of that, he was really friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better.   Diego gave us the best day and tour. He is professionally attentive, great awareness, knowledgeable, bonus points for vulnerability in sharing pieces of his own experiences in El Salvador. Kept us on schedule, took us everywhere we wanted to go and punctual. 10/10. Highly recommend this tour. We went to Ataco and rode ATV’s, shopped the town, then to Albania for the rainbow slide, and zip line with gorgeous views, and finally to Santa Teresa hot springs for a fabulous lunch and volcanic mud and mineral pools. You will not regret spending the day touring these parts of El Salvador with Diego! Amazing experience.

  We had Diego as a tour guide. From the moment we met him, it felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a friend who knows all the hidden gems. He took us to Café Albania, and let’s just say… the views alone deserve their own postcard series. Absolutely breathtaking. Then came Taco Town, where the food hit exactly the way it should after an adventure—flavor-packed, authentic, and unforgettable. But the real adrenaline chapter? The ATV ride. Mud, laughs, insane scenery—it was the kind of experience that makes you feel alive in all caps. Diego made sure we felt safe the whole time while still letting us have that full-on adventure energy. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better… the hot springs. Pure relaxation mode unlocked. The perfect ending to a perfectly curated day. Diego is knowledgeable, patient, fun, and clearly passionate about what he does. He didn’t just guide us—he elevated the entire experience.   Our full-day tour with Diego was truly an amazing experience. He drove us from San Salvador to Café Albania, the Santa Teresa Hot Springs, and the beautiful town of Ataco, and everything about the day ran smoothly thanks to him. Diego was incredibly knowledgeable about each destination and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. His English was excellent, which made communication easy for those who didn’t speak Spanish, and he even taught us some Salvadoran slang along the way. What stood out most was Diego’s patience, kindness, and genuine passion for his work. He made everyone feel comfortable and ensured that every stop felt special.
