  Sueprisingly, we were the only people (2 people) booking the Floating Market Tour in the morning. The booking was easy via the website. Our guide Hien picked us up directly in the hotel lobby at 6am and we jumped on the boat right next to the location of the night market. Our breakfast on the floating market was great, we also stopped by a pinapple vendor on another boat and had a look inside. Further stops were a traditional noodle factory, cocoa farm and fruit farm. Hien is a very friendly, attentive and pleasant guide. Great communication ahead also via whatsapp. We felt very welcomed to have the tour with him as guide and would 100% recommend.

  My experience on this tour with Logan was such a memorable and great experience. I loved every second of the tour from the kind communities on the floating markets to the delicious fruits. Logan and the boat driver (Dat) took great care of us and paid attention to every detail.   It is a super nice experience, the local guide Akuma speaks very good English. He knows how to tell about everything and is very spontaneous. We will make sure that the experience is memorable and that you feel comfortable.

  We booked a private floating market tour with Mekong Smile via WhatsApp, and it was a great experience from start to finish. I did this tour together with my 4-year-old son, and everything felt very safe and well organized. We were picked up from our hotel, Legacy Mekong, at 6:00 AM. Life vests were provided on the boat, which was reassuring, especially when traveling with a child. After about a 45-minute boat ride, we arrived at the floating market. Our guide, Thinh, was excellent. His English was very good, and he explained a lot along the way while showing us daily life on the river. At the market, we enjoyed coffee and breakfast, which was a lovely way to experience the atmosphere. After that, we visited a local noodle shop and stopped by a local family to try some fruit. Thinh was very respectful, kind, and especially helpful with my son, which I truly appreciated. Overall, this was a memorable and authentic experience. I would definitely recommend Mekong Smile Tours, especially for families with young children.

  The trip was absolutely fantastic. We saw some amazing, beautiful sights and tried some lovely handmade food, including fresh rice noodles and chocolate. The guide, Pi was absolutely lovely. The boat ride was fun and everyone was welcoming. This was by far the best tour I've been on in Vietnam. We had an extremely enjoyable time! 10/10!

  A beautiful day from beginning to end. Kim Yen (Kylie) - our tour guide was on time for pick up at the hotel. The transfer to the boat took only a few minutes. By boat we went to the Floating Market where we had fresh coffee and soup. Both tasted very good. Along the way Kylie told us a lot of interesting facts about life on the river and the history of it. Afterwards we visited a rice noodle factory and were allowed to make rice noodles ourselves. After a detour into a small lateral canal we drove on to a cocoa plantation, very interesting and good samples. Later we went on to an orchard, where we were explained different tropical fruits and there was a tasting. On the way back we were allowed to climb aboard one of the larger ships of the floating market and taste this tour as well as fresh pineapple. Very impressive. Finally, we were given homemade jewelry and a bouquet of dried plants by our boatmaster. Kylie has given us a very nice day with her open nature and kindness, we wish her all the best for her future.
