• Great Fun, but actually 4 tours stitched together!

  Great tour! Everyone was really helpful. One important thing to note though, that we didn’t realize, is that this isn’t one comprehensive tour. My partner and I started with one group, got dropped off at the lodge to walk to the ziplining with a different group, were on our own for the night, did snorkeling with another group, and then waited at the cafe for a guide and bus to pick us up for the end of the trip and to take us back to town. Everything went really smoothly, but we didn’t understand all the transfers when we first booked. It’s good to know! The other thing to note is that dinner options at the Safari Lodge are very limited, especially without a car. We ended up grabbing provisions from the local grocery (closes at 5:30) to cook ourselves. Overall fun time though! Everyone we interacted with was incredibly helpful and kind and the safari lodge is awesome. Book the private en suite bathroom, it comes with air con, totally worth it!

• 2 day trip through the rainforest

  It was a cool insight into the rainforest with the end of the first day of a zipline tour through the rainforest where you saw crocodiles and many birds. The boat tour was very nice. On the second day we set off on a snorkeling tour where we saw turtles, reef sharks, rays and a crocodile as highlights when we got out of the water. The tour continued until 13:00 and at 15:00 the return transfer to Cairns started.

  If you want to see the Daintree rainforest go on this tour! Our guide Stu was fantastic, so much fun, really friendly, knowledgeable and had some great stories. As a solo traveller I was made to feel at ease. I split the tour into a 2 day package and stayed a night up in Cape Trib which was a great way to really get a feel for the rainforest and to see more of the wildlife. Stu was there to pick me back up the following day to continue the tour. Unfortunately the weather stopped us from completing the after lunch portion of the trip due to flash flooding, it looked like we’d be staying the night at Cape Trib however Stu was extremely proactive and he managed to get us out safely after a couple of hours. This was an experience in itself and just shows how the weather can change instantly. Although I didn’t get to take part in the afternoon activities if they were anything like the morning it would be 5stars! Swimming in the gorge amazing, croc tour very interesting and we managed to see Cassowary’s!! The rainforest is beautiful, definitely a must see on anyone’s trip to Cairns.

  Fantastic day! Our driver Jim was a.wealth of knowledge. Visited Mossman Gorge, the welcome to country ceremonially was very moving. A shame we couldn’t due to torrential rain the day before. Daintree river cruise and Myall beach at Cape Tribulation and rain forest walk was magical!

  Stew the tour guide was an absolute legend and extremely knowledgeable and informative. It was a very well run tour as we covered off twice as much as we would have if we tried organising ourselves. All the hard work was done for us and we were able to sit back and relax!

  We were tossing up with hiring a car, or doing the tour - and we are so glad we did the tour. Stu (our guide) was extremely fun and informative, everything was taken care of, and with everything that was included it was great value for money. An awesome, fun day - and we would highly recommend.

  Unique experience and the guide Tom is a wonderful guy. Knowledgeable, patient; helpful. We were a bit late for the departure. He tried his best to pointer us to get there. Answer me all the curious questions. Very lucky to have him for our tour. Thanks heaps Tom 🙏

  very nice, even with the second day spent in heavy rain. Great driver and guide.
