On this tour we go to Cajón del Maipo (we do not go to Embalse El Yeso or to the Termas), we visit the town of San José de Maipo, then we go further into the Cordillera sector. We do some short hikes and end with a picnic on the mountain with wine, beer, juice, cheese, nuts, artisan jam, chocolate, etc. . * available throughout the year, the tour is operated only from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

Tinoco tunnel.
Las Melosas.
El Volcán settlement.
Velo de la Novia waterfall, 30 minute walk approx.

5.00We made the tour to the Cajón del Maipo and it was one of the best experiences of our trip! The highlight was being able to get very close to the ice in the mountain range, a unique feeling of being surrounded by so much nature and seeing all that beauty from close. The views of the snow-covered volcano are breathtaking and make amazing photos. The guide Juan was exceptional throughout the tour. His historical and geological explanations helped to understand the formation of the region and gave even more meaning to what we were seeing. In addition, he was very attentive and friendly, an interesting and sincere conversation, and also helped with the best angles for the photos. To close with a golden key, we ended the day with a delicious picnic near a beautiful waterfall — the perfect setting to relax and enjoy everything around. I highly recommend this experience.

We only took the tours with my husband and I and it was certainly a totally different experience to have this service exclusive to us. 5.00The trekking tour was impressive: the view, the trail and the guide Diego with the explanations. The tour is really private and we went in places with no turists and other groups. The trail is excelent for every beginner of trekking!

5.00Andean Silence is a tour rich in beauty and history. We went as a family, with our 2 and a half year old son and it was above our expectations. Firstly because our guide Juan is a cultural heritage! He knows a lot about Chilean history and was extremely pleasant with us throughout the tour, including our young son, helping us entertain and play with him. About the region visited: It’s a sight to behold. Seeing the peaks still snow-capped was beautiful. The road is beautiful, talking to people native to the Andean region was great, stopping to contemplate the Cordilleras is sureal. These are moments of silence, reflection and gratitude. A meditation. And to finish, a very cold bath in the glacier waters (optional, of course... lol). About the picnic: It was exceptional, a beautifully arranged table in a space with an incredible view and delicious options. About the value: it does justice to the service offered. We felt unique and it was wonderful. I would not use another company to accompany me after discovering INDO to Chile. Thanks!
