Escape the bustling souks, streets and palaces of Marrakech, and climb on the back of a camel to ride through the beautiful Palmeraie on the outskirts of the city.

Although the real desert is too far from the city center, about 20 minutes drive away lies an oasis of manicured gardens, sweet-scented orange trees and palm groves that make ideal terrain for a spot of light camel riding.

A driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to meet the camel handlers and their trusty beasts. They will then guide you into the Palmeraie and on through authentic villas and green palm groves.

Discover how the locals live outside the city center. And end with a fresh mint tea.

    Our driver was punctual. He picked us up at our hotel. We went to the Agafay Desert for a camel ride. They offered us traditional tea. It was a very nice experience.

    Fabulous time. Easy to book, pick up was flawless and a great time was had by all. Our guide was excellent, chatted away and took loads of fantastic photographs for us. The sweet tea and biscuits at the end were a lovely wee treat. Scenery was fabulous, from the arid desert to the snow capped mountains, absolutely stunning. Something you need to do if visiting Marrakesh.

    This was an amazing experience! Our guide was very helpful. My Camel Anfisa was delightful 😊. Amazing view of the Atlas Mountains on our trek. Our 1st time in Marrakech and we were very very pleased with our outing.

    A brilliant experience. Well worth the money. Everything was seamless from pick-up to drop off. Lots of excellent photos on the camels, and quad biking was loads of fun. Highly recommended if you are spending a long weekend in Marrakech.
