Experience this unforgettable guided tour through the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes in one of the most innovative attractions in the province of Malaga. Discover nature in a different way from 300 meters above the Guadalhorce River.
El Caminito del Rey in El Chorro is located in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, between the municipalities of Álora and Ardales. Enjoy a guided tour of an exciting footbridge suspended over the pits of the Sierra Huma, which is 3 kilometers long and less than 10 meters wide during some sections of the route.
During the tour you can see remains of the old path, which was originally created as a means of passage between the Salto del Chorro and the Salto del Gaitanejo for the workers in the Hidroeléctrica del Chorro Society.
Experience a pure adrenaline rush from up to 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River while you simultaneously enjoy the nature of one of the largest protected natural spaces in the province of Malaga.

Caminito del rey is amazing, we had great guide and enjoyed it very much. There were people buying tickets there although they were sold out. They just had to wait longer.

This was hiking never experienced before. The views were spectacular and the trail was very safe. Most of the trail was flat but there were some inclines and steps. Give yourself at least 20 min to hike to where you are to meet. The guide had some interesting facts, but you can purchase tickets and not have a guide.

I wanted to visit this site for long and now we finally did it. It was such a nice walk, beautiful views and a very nice guide that could tell us a lot about this place. Our son has a little fear of hights, but it didn't block him. The hanging bridge at the end was a little challenging, but the guide took him to go first and that helped him a lot. Don't let it keep you from going!

Amazing scenery with breathtaking views and an engaging guide. More info required about the start (ticket and time entry) and end (see later).. Groups too big or radio too poor as sound regularly dropped out or crackled. No mention at all of the long walk at the end uphill in the heat still carrying helmets plus no mention of where to pick up bus. Had to pay for bus back which again wasn’t mentioned.
