The Gathering & Access Point: Meet your official, certified guide at the North Access. Upon arrival, look for the Caminito del Rey staff wearing the dark blue uniform. Simply introduce yourself to the staff member and state that your reservation is with Discovering Spain. You will need to provide the name on your booking, the number of people in your party, and your scheduled tour time. All this essential information is clearly printed on your voucher.
Gaitanejo Power Station
Walk through the initial path and the first suspended walkways. The guide will focus on the Caminito's dramatic history: its construction in the early 1900s, the dangers workers faced, and the reasons King Alfonso XIII commissioned it. This section sets the stage for the gorge.

5.00Amazing experience. The views were as great as the website pictures. We felt safe and would recommend to others. Only issue was the parking and where the start was which was a little confusing after you go through the tunnel but we asked people along the way and got there in time. (Leave more time than you think you need).

5.00It was well organised with clear instructions EXCEPT for how to find the meeting point once you arrived at the restaurant. Because the path was shut once you went through the first tunnel (as shown in the instructions) , you needed to walk up the road a bit further and then turn off to get to the North entrance.

5.00An exhilarating high-level walkway through this spectacular gorge with the fast flowing river thundering below. Our guide was great and explained a lot about this history, geology and wildlife which added a lot to our experience. It was busier than we expected so some queuing was involved and joining instructions didn't tell us about the 20 minute walk to the meeting point so we were a little late. We thoroughly recommend this as a day trip with lots of walking involved.

4.00The walk is beautiful, especially in good weather. People with the fear of heights might not enjoy it that much though. We did have some problems with downloading our tickets. Since there's hardly any staff to be of assistance at the venues, we ended up doing the tour without a guide.

4.00It was outstanding as far as the actual surroundings and your guide was good…she took a little time to get warmed up with explanations! Also , more info should have been given regarding the shuttle bus stops!

5.00The caminito del rey is a very nice and now easy for everyone to walk. Fantastic nature, spectacular views, exciting jetties. We had a lot of fun. We had booked a guided tour in English, which was completely pointless. Were greeted at the beginning and then we did not see the Führer again.
