Sleeping in the primary forest of Laos is an exceptional experience.

The sounds, the vegetation, everything encourages you to enjoy the present moment, you will sleep in a hammock or on the floor of a “carbet” (structure made of wood and bamboo raised from the ground to avoid crawling animals)

Before that, you will learn to cook typical Laotian dishes naturally, with bamboo and the next morning, the smoke from the fire will announce the time to eat a hearty breakfast, then it will be time to leave.

You will learn how to cook typical Laotian dishes in the countryside, with very few utensils and sleep in the forest with all the sounds of the night in a hammock or on the floor of our cabin and wake up near the fire and take a unique breakfast. In the evening, you will take a wild cooking class: you will learn Laotian cuisine using fire, as in the original. Then, you will install your belongings to place one under a carbet (bamboo construction with a roof, all made from materials from the forest). In the morning, the smoke from the rekindled fire will announce the time to have breakfast (which you will have chosen the day before). It will then be time to leave.

An unforgettable evening around the fire listening to birdsong and eating rice cooked in bamboo. Personally I am not used to sleeping in a hammock but others slept on the ground in the shelter which was built for that

Just wow! the sounds in the forest are exceptional, Peng and Ken gave us an absolutely brilliant time, and the evening cooking class was a surprise, we didn't expect to experience that! too bad too short
