At 5:45 AM, we pick you up at your hotel in Can Tho by car and take you to the boat station, where you’ll board a traditional wooden sampan — the beginning of your Mekong journey. ⸻ Visit Local Market Before heading to the river, you’ll stop by a small morning market where locals buy fresh produce, flowers, and breakfast food. It’s an authentic glimpse of daily Mekong life before the city wakes up.
Cai Rang Floating Market
Sunrise on the Mekong River Around 6:00 AM, the river is quiet and the sky begins to glow. As the sun rises over the water, you’ll enjoy one of the calmest and most beautiful moments of the day. ⸻ Cai Rang Floating Market When the river gets busier, you arrive at the famous floating market, where boats sell fruits and vegetables right on the water. Here, you’ll enjoy a hot bowl of noodle soup on the boat — with a vegetarian option available. ⸻ Life on the River You’ll switch to a smaller sampan to explore deeper. Fresh pineapple will be cut and served right on the river. Your guide shares stories about how local people live, trade, and raise their families on the water.

5.00Our tour guide, Tien, was amazing. She can also speak English!! Tour was very informative and descriptive throughout the whole tour, explaining the history and local experiences. Absolutely wonderful time with her. The tour was amazing! Highly recommend if you would like to capture Can Tho.

5.00From collecting us in Ho Chi Minh to a street food tour (my daughter’s trip highlight!) and the floating market boat tour (even transport to the airport) Mr Nick made sure we had the best of times! Can Tho was our favorite part of our trip. Vy and Daisy were amazing guides and we cannot wait to return! Thank you is not a big enough word!!!

5.00We were met 2 little kids. Great experience, very good guide with miss Vy and the driver to the forest was also excellent. They took their time and were great with the kids to adjust to them. I would definitely recommend. The water in the canals near the watermarket were to shallow to go there by boat so i was very happy that we combined the tour with the forest boattour. That was great. It was very hot on the boat when we went to the watermarket, but in the forest there was a lot of shadows.
