At 5:45 AM, we pick you up at your hotel in Can Tho by car and take you to the boat station, where you’ll board a traditional wooden sampan — the beginning of your Mekong journey. ⸻ Visit Local Market Before heading to the river, you’ll stop by a small morning market where locals buy fresh produce, flowers, and breakfast food. It’s an authentic glimpse of daily Mekong life before the city wakes up.
Cai Rang Floating Market
Sunrise on the Mekong River Around 6:00 AM, the river is quiet and the sky begins to glow. As the sun rises over the water, you’ll enjoy one of the calmest and most beautiful moments of the day. ⸻ Cai Rang Floating Market When the river gets busier, you arrive at the famous floating market, where boats sell fruits and vegetables right on the water. Here, you’ll enjoy a hot bowl of noodle soup on the boat — with a vegetarian option available. ⸻ Life on the River You’ll switch to a smaller sampan to explore deeper. Fresh pineapple will be cut and served right on the river. Your guide shares stories about how local people live, trade, and raise their families on the water.

5.00Great discovery of the Mekong Delta. The agency was attentive throughout our stay of 4 days 3 nights. We had 2 guides who spoke extremely good French and made us discover the Mekong Delta far from mass tourism. Special mention to Nhis (Nini) who was in the care from start to finish.

5.00We had a great morning in the presence of Doan who is a French teacher who speaks very good French (which is very nice to understand the subtleties of the country, anecdotes, etc.). We highly recommend if you upgrade to Can Tho.

5.00We had an excellent day thanks to Mint and her colleague Vy. Vy took great care of us during an almost private tour. There were only four of us on a small boat, which made the experience very pleasant and authentic. We visited the floating market in Can Tho, enjoyed breakfast on the boat, and then discovered a fruit farm, a noodle-making workshop, and a cacao farm, with tastings at each stop. Vy’s explanations were clear, interesting, and always given with a smile. Everything was perfectly organized. She is an attentive, professional, and passionate guide. We have wonderful memories of this day and highly recommend this experience without hesitation!

5.00Great excursion to Can Tho and surroundings. Our guide is exciting and really invested in his explanations. The reserve is very quiet and relaxing, while the floating market, on the other hand, is alive and well organized. A very pleasant walk that I highly recommend. Thank you for everything!

5.00The proposed tour is complete, and allows you to really visit Can Tho, in all its aspects! We had a great experience with a local guide, listening to our questions. The excursion takes 5am to 6am but is definitely worth it, it allows access to authentic places that we could not have visited alone. I recommend!!

5.00We had a great tour! There was so much to see on the markets (both floating and on land) and in the Nature reserve. Nick is a very good guide and explained a lot. We felt that he loves his city and enjoyed showing it’s beauty to visitors. Also, our boat drivers and all vendors we met on the tour were very open and nice. Thank you very much, 100% recommended!
