At 5:45 AM, we pick you up at your hotel in Can Tho by car and take you to the boat station, where you’ll board a traditional wooden sampan — the beginning of your Mekong journey. ⸻ Visit Local Market Before heading to the river, you’ll stop by a small morning market where locals buy fresh produce, flowers, and breakfast food. It’s an authentic glimpse of daily Mekong life before the city wakes up.
Cai Rang Floating Market
Sunrise on the Mekong River Around 6:00 AM, the river is quiet and the sky begins to glow. As the sun rises over the water, you’ll enjoy one of the calmest and most beautiful moments of the day. ⸻ Cai Rang Floating Market When the river gets busier, you arrive at the famous floating market, where boats sell fruits and vegetables right on the water. Here, you’ll enjoy a hot bowl of noodle soup on the boat — with a vegetarian option available. ⸻ Life on the River You’ll switch to a smaller sampan to explore deeper. Fresh pineapple will be cut and served right on the river. Your guide shares stories about how local people live, trade, and raise their families on the water.

5.00We had a great tour! There was so much to see on the markets (both floating and on land) and in the Nature reserve. Nick is a very good guide and explained a lot. We felt that he loves his city and enjoyed showing it’s beauty to visitors. Also, our boat drivers and all vendors we met on the tour were very open and nice. Thank you very much, 100% recommended!

5.00Nick was an outstanding guide, very kind and attentive. He shared fascinating insights into the local culture and the places we visited. Unlike many other tours, this one never felt rushed, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment in truly beautiful locations. The activity was very interesting and well-rounded, perfectly combining local culture — with explanations about traditions and customs — and visits to truly spectacular natural surroundings. Everything felt very authentic and enriching. On top of that, Nick was an absolute delight: friendly, approachable, and very professional. Without a doubt, a highly recommended activity.

5.00We had a great time on this trip from Ho Chi Minh to Phu Quoc. The team is very professionnal, on time and the planning was excellent. Our guides spoke good English. Our highlight was the Floating market, a great experience. We recommand this compagny all the way!

5.00We did this tour with Nick and it was incredible. As Muslims, we don’t eat meat, and he was able to offer us a delicious vegetarian bánh mì at the floating market. We also visited a local factory to learn how noodles are made — it was super interesting, and both the kids and us absolutely loved the activity. We ended the day at the nature reserve, which was truly beautiful. We also really enjoyed the boat guide, who was very funny. And Nick took great care of us from start to finish. We highly recommend this tour and have absolutely no regrets about choosing it.

The tour also gives you a lovely overview of beautiful spots around the area, so it’s perfect if you want to see the best local places in a short time. We highly recommend it!

5.00A tour worth waking up early for! Jessica, the guide, has great energy, a positive attitude, and excellent English. The atmosphere is relaxed. You don’t need to do too much trekking, yet you get to see a lot during this tour. Jessica shares information in a pleasant way — it doesn’t feel like a school lesson, but rather like enjoyable insights that you’ll remember afterwards. If you’re staying in the city center, it’s super convenient and just a short walk to the harbor! Thank you!
