Lerins Islands
The two islands in front of Cannes are ideal for a day trip, 15 minutes from the city. Sainte-Marguerite Island is a natural oasis where you will see many marine and terrestrial protected species. Ile Saint-Honorat, inhabited by Cistercian monks, has more historical landmarks to visit.

4.00I am returning from my first ocean cruise, a trip to and around Iceland on Fred Olsen Cruiser. The experience on the Bollette was most enjoyable , the service was excellent, the food and ambiance was satisfactory and although the trips and excursions were well planned, there was limited time at each destination in comparison to a river cruise for self exploration. I would recommend the Food and Wine Pairing Lunch in the Colours and Tastes restaurant. Our host Kirshor and his team are very unassuming , are very well informed, and the lunch and the wines are streets ahead of restaurants charging over £100 per head for a meal including drinks. Much of the staff have decades of experience of working for Fred Olsen which is a clear endorsement of the way in which they treat their staff and the enjoyable experience provided by the apparent family owned company.

5.00We had an excellent time with our guide Rodolphe. He was friendly and helpful and made the trip pleasant and enjoyable. Seeing the underwater statues and exploring the island were highlights, especially having ice cream delivered to the boat for the kids by one of the snack boats. A great relaxing way to spend the afternoon.

5.00We really enjoyed this experience and wished it could have been longer! The water was beautiful and the boat was comfortable for the 4 of us. The captain was friendly. We really enjoyed seeing the underwater statues and swimming by the Lerins Islands. I would recommend this experience!

Host communicated with us the day before and even asked if we would like to push meeting time up bc he was worried we might be cold. Our guide was Paulo and he was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable about the history of the Lerins islands and catered to our every whim! This was by far our favorite day of our trip! Thanks for and unforgettable day!
