As well as being a test of skill and concentration as you learn to master the canoes, we will also see some of the Lake Districts stunning scenery and wildlife. You can also hear some of the strange tales that have happened over the years in these quiet fells!

After a morning learning the skills required to safety control the boats, we'll stop for lunch at a lakeside cafe. Having refueled, we will tackle the river, including a weir, numerous rapids and some stunning scenery. You will at all times be looked after by one of our highly qualified and experienced canoe instructors. Photos of your day are included.

5.00We had a great canoe on Bassenthwaite Lake with Steve. It was very well organised and Steve made the day fun and interesting. Would definitely book with MobileAdventures again.

5.00Family of 4 with a 16yo and 14yo. We were in a group of six which was great for us. We had a fantastic day with John - paddling fairly leisurely across Derwent Water. Lovely location for a spot of lunch before heading off down River Derwent which was great fun. Out into Brassenthwaite lake. It got a little choppy here so had to put a bit more effort in! Great for a family who likes being out and about but not into extreme sports. John was a great teacher, very experienced and really easy to get on with. Trip was planned to perfection - John really knows what's he's doing.

5.00I had a fantastic day with my 10 year old son and our instructor Tom. He was really friendly and helpful. We both loved canoeing down the river Derwent with its mini 'rapids' and had a lot of fun on our 13km trip. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a great day canoeing on the lake and up the river. John had all the required equipment and had loads of cool stories about the local areas that we canoed through & a tonne of recommendations of things to do and see in the area! A really fun and relaxed day, with great company, thanks John! Oh and an added bonus of John taking some great non posed pics! 100% would recommend!

5.00From booking to completing our family canoe trip, mobile adventure were very efficient and offered help and advise. Our tour guide was professional whilst still being good fun. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and we will definitely do it again when we visit the Lakes. Thank you Mobile Adventure!!!
