  BOOKING & PRICE: Booked with Cebu Tours PH for Whale shark snorkelling, Canyoneering in Kawasan Falls & Tumalog Falls package. Tour packages were laid out well & its itinerary on the website. Easy booking, only asks for deposit. We compared 3 other like for like tour packages in Cebu and find Cebu Tours PH reasonably priced and in fact we got more than what we paid for. Didn’t expect lunch came with 3 dishes, soup, dessert and drinks. Usually in other tour packages abroad drinks aren’t included and only comes with 1 dish. Excellent communication by keeping us updated with progress of booking as it is a shared package, flexible in accommodating additional client/guest & company policies are client centred. One thing I’d like to suggest is once booking confirmed could possibly inform clients what to bring such as change of clothes, waterproof bag, towels and what are provided. Our family is experienced trekkers & adventurers so we know what to expect & bring but the other guest in our shared tour didn’t and i feel sorry for him as he came not fully prepared as he wasn’t been made aware. Very happy with Reservation Officers JOHN M and esp shout out to JULIE ANN B. TRANSPORT: Agreed pick up time was 3:30am. EDMAR was 30 mins early! We were not fully ready yet. However he knew that so patiently waited in the lobby. FYI, Europeans are well known to be on time. A 5-10 mins early is a socially & professionally acceptable time but not too early and never late. We intended to be in the lobby at 3:20am. A/C in van was a bliss amidst the heat & humid Cebu. EDMAR is a quick reacting & fast driver. Obviously knows his way too well down South & back and avoided the peak traffic period. He could do well as a F1 racer hahaha!! Our boys & hubby weren’t so happy though as his driving made them motion sick. WHALE SHARK SNORKELLING & TUMALOG FALLS: Tour Guide GLAIZA is amazing!!! She explained the itinerary, what to expect, even the meal menu!! As our turn to ride the boat would be an hour or so wait so she instead took us to Tumalog Falls to kill the time & the sight was to behold of! It was just too cold in the early morning for a swim. She brought us towels in case we didn’t have any or don’t want to bring home our own wet towels. She is well prepared and thought things through to make the trip easy, enjoyable & fun. Her company in itself is enjoyable enough. Please send our compliments to GLAIZA and wish her well. The experience with whale shark snorkelling is wonderful to be close ( >4 meters) to these gentle giants. The boatmen were thorough, helpful & careful. Our safety was their priority. It can’t be helped we get into the tides & waves and swim afar from our boat and they made sure to pull us back within safety perimeters. From arrival to end it looks chaotic on the surface but by following the Guides instructions, the system is well organised and systematic. The place could do with plenty of toilet facilities to avoid very long queues which nobody has luxury of time to do so. CANYONEERING: Highlight of the trip will take 3-4hrs. This isn’t for the faint hearted and please don’t take your little ones primary/elementary age & below children, in my own opinion. Some parents turned back realising how difficult it is to have little one in it. This is full of adrenaline & very physical trek. Little ones will struggle to go against the fast high pressure water currents. It will compromise your Guide’s assistance as they carry little kid same time trekking down the rockies with heavy flowing waters. Its easy for the Guides coz they know what to do to stay safe & fun but looking at the kids’ it seemed a struggle for little feet. Or they have to detour to avoid these adventures to make it safe for little ones. This is what i observed from other tour groups. This isn’t specifically addressed to Cebu Tours PH agency. This is a totally wonderful & amazing experience one of the adrenaline rush adventures our family won’t forget. Our compliments to the Tour Guides: SHAIRA, KENT, RAPHAEL & JARED. You guys are so totally amazing & excellent at what you do. You knew the whole trek like the back of your hand and you do love your job as it shows in how fun you are & your enthusiasm. We learned a lot not only about the trek but its surrounding nature, stories and folklores of the water & mountains & most of all the way of life & living of Badian locals. When i have to do this again, I will ask specifically for you guys as our Guides. I could not recommend you enough. Just a lovely bunch full of fun which make all the canyoneering experience all the way way better. All the best to you.   Great day out canyoneering! Our driver Kuya Wilson was friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable the whole day. Had a really fun time canyoneering! Our guides were funny and made the time memorable and even more enjoyable!

• Disappointing Island Hopping and Completely Missed Canyoning Experience in Moalboal

  Our recent island hopping and canyoneering tour in Moalboal was a major disappointment. Initially booked for a seemingly reasonable price of 3450 pesos per person, the experience was marred by poor communication, unexpected costs, and subpar services. The day began with a 35-minute delay by the driver, despite multiple attempts to contact the agent, Mark. Upon arrival in Moalboal, we were met with another agent who insisted on immediate full payment, contradicting our prior agreement. The pressure tactics didn't end there; we were then bombarded with offers to rent unnecessary equipment at inflated prices. Despite clear communication about payment preferences, we were forced to find a cash machine to avoid a hefty surcharge, causing undue stress, especially in front of our children. The provided lunch was basic and underwhelming, and the promised canyoneering activity was completely omitted. The kasawan falls excursion was merely a drop-off point, with the accompanying guide offering no assistance or engagement. The promised canyoneering was nowhere to be found. Instead, we were simply taken to the falls with no adventure or guidance whatsoever. This was a blatant misrepresentation of the tour. In stark contrast, a previous island hopping experience in Boracay offered exceptional value, including delicious barbecue, for a fraction of the cost. It's evident that the primary focus of this tour operator is profit maximization rather than customer satisfaction. Given that similar activities can be independently arranged for less than half the price, we strongly advise against using this particular agency. Potential travelers should be aware of the potential pitfalls and prioritize clear communication and transparency when booking tours with them as we spent over 14200 pesso Overall, our experience was a costly and frustrating one, and we cannot recommend this tour operator to others.

  our driver Josef picked us up at our lobby at 3:30AM, we couldn’t have asked for a better driver, he was such a nice man and very accommodating and told us some history about cebu so we learnt some new things. we had Tia for our whale shark but it was too many people for us so we were overwhelmed and decided not to do it but yet she packed our lunches and accompanied and accommodated us to our liking and made us feel like we could do whatever we wanted at any moment. she ran us through the whole experience even if we didn’t end up doing the whale shark. for our canyoneering we had the best guides, Samuel, Joshua and their two friends. they made it very safe for us, took the best pictures and at every angle, they were very funny and definitely made our day, i would highly recommend the four of them for the canyoneering. also don’t forget to tip all of the people that work and guide us through these trips as it more than helps them. they work hard enough to deserve every bit of tips!!!

  So much fun! Definitely worth the trip from Cebu city. We had our own private driver pick us up at 5am on the dot and drive us roughly 3 hours to the Canyoneering office. We were greeted by Lloyd and Ajay. They got us set up with life vests, helmets and water shoes. They provided lockers for all our things. If you want to purchase snacks or the zip line along the way you can pay when you get back. This way you don't need to worry about money while jumping. Ajay and Lloyd took control of our phones and captured many amazing photos and kept everything dry. I recommend the small private tour as it felt more personal, had more time and didn't have to wait too long for the jumps. The canyon is beautiful and the water is a gorgeous colour. You end up at Kasawan falls and then provided a simple but tasty lunch at the end. Highly recommend. Just be prepared for the long drive there and back from cebu city. Thanks Lloyd and Ajay for making our canyoneering experience safe and so much fun!

  Had a blast on this trip, and I’m really happy we went with the private tour. I will say we didn’t see Kawasan Falls since the government closed it down temporarily, and we weren’t told this until the day before the trip. I wish we had been informed sooner, but they easily transitioned us to Kabutongan Falls instead. Having a private guide meant we could take as long as we wanted in some parts without holding up the group, and our guide took charge of our phones and took lots of pictures for us! I highly recommend a waterproof phone case, and make sure it can float because if the case slips off and falls to the bottom you’ll never find it. I don’t have a lot of experience jumping off cliffs into water, but with a little bravery we made the 7 meter jump and had a splashing good time.

  Did not get to go canyoneering because of a flood in the canyon but company was accommodating and let us change our excursion to snorkeling (and refunded us the difference). However, one of the operators on the snorkeling excursion was extremely rude and made unwarranted comments on one of our group members weight multiple times. Ruined an otherwise lovely experience for her.

  Such a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and our tour guide took amazing care of us. The experience itself is so magical from the zip line to jumping off the rocks to the waterfalls. The water was the most gorgeous shade of blue. I’d give is 100/10 and would recommend everyone visiting the Philippines to check out this amazing experience.

  Excellent guide, excellent driver, overall excellent experience for the day! The canyon is beautiful and with a good guide the experience is all the better! Be ready to jump off the cliffs and explore!
