1. Welcome and Collection of Equipment: Upon arrival, our experienced guides will outfit you with all the necessary equipment for canyoning. 2. Scenic Hike to the Canyon: Enjoy a 30-minute hike through lush forest to the canyon's entrance, taking in the stunning alpine scenery. 3. Safety Briefing: Before starting the canyoning adventure, you will undergo a safety briefing. 4. Exploring the Canyon: Navigate narrow gorges and wade through streams, discovering the hidden treasures of Slovenia. You will jump down waterfalls into pools, slide on natural rock formations, and abseil using a rope. All activities are conducted under the supervision of a guide to ensure your safety. If you don’t feel comfortable jumping, you can always use the rope. The highlight of the canyon is a 50-meter waterfall, which you can walk around if you're feeling apprehensive. 5. Return: After the adventure, return to the car, change into dry clothes, and reflect on your experience with the group. Transport: You can travel to the canyon either in your own car or with our van. If you use your own car, you are free to leave directly after canyoning without needing to return to our base.

5.00We had already done a canyoning tour with waterfall freaks last year and booked again with them for a rafting tour and the Fratarica canyoning tour this year. We had a fantastic time on each tour! With Martin as our guide we always felt super safe, even though at least I scare easily, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and fun. Additionally Martin picked us up and drove us back to our apartment, since our car broke down the day before. Martin only guides tours of smaller groups, so you'll have almost no wait times and a more familiar group, while exploring the beautiful nature. On the Canyoning tour we had the canyon completely to ourselves. The Fratarica tour was stunning, with a lot of waterfalls and natural pools, while still being not too technically advanced for us. If you are looking for experienced, really friendly guides and an impressive nature experience in a smaller group, we definetely recommend booking with waterfall freaks!!
