On this half-day 4WD adventure from Moab, explore the rugged, red stone interior of Canyonlands National Park, where you’ll experience the beauty of the Island in the Sky district and the stunning Gooseneck Overlook. Your professional guide will navigate your vehicle down the switchbacks of the famous Shafer Trail, where you will not only see the remains of ancient Pueblo civilizations but also admire the canyon walls that drop 1,000 feet (300m) down. It’s an easy drive from Moab to Canyonlands, and the views of the meandering Colorado River help cap off this Utah adventure.

We advise that is you are, or anyone in your party is, over 6'2" and/or 225+ pounds to please consult the tour office prior to your trip's departure date.
The Jeep Wranglers used have four passenger seats, and the guide/driver has all guests rotate seats throughout the trip. This makes it so that one person is not stuck in the same seat for the entire trip.
Not recommended for those with motion sickness, vertigo, etc.
Due to these tours being 'backcountry' tours, you will be going off the paved roads in an elevated vehicle that has the clearance for these special off-road trails.
Things to bring: water bottle (free refills available), sunglasses, sunscreen, visor/hat, sun protection, sturdy footwear for hiking, day pack, camcorders and cameras (bring at your own risk)

5.0Never again would I come to Canyonlands and not do this trip. Over and over and over. It was that good. We spent four solid hours seeing amazing views, including wildlife, and getting pics of a lifetime. I promise you wont even begin to see the park like this from the roads. Breathtaking.

5.0Our guide, Mark, was excellent. He was welcoming and friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the park, the geological formation of the terrain, and the backstory of many aspects of the park. The vehicle was spotless and had modern electronic hookups. We had limited time to see the park, and this tour was perfect for us in that we felt it was a thorough overview and we didn't feel like we missed anything.

5.0Mark was an excellent tour guide, Very knowledgeable and entertaining! The only thing I would suggest is for Viator to give us an address for pick up on the actual FIRST of of the ticket PL!!

5.0Had a great time. Was picked up at our campground and brought right to starting point of our tour. mark and Ric were very knowledgeable funny tour guides. Got so many pictures and really enjoyed an amazing day!
