Hop into a Toyota Land Cruiser with your expert guide and head north from Moab to the backcountry entrance of Arches National Park and avoid the crowds.
Our first stop is to see dinosaur footprints as we pass through Utahraptor State Park.
After entry to the National Park, we'll pass Balanced Rock, one of the most iconic features of the Park, standing a staggering 128 feet!
The 4X4 trail into the backcounty climbs a short but steep rock wall passing sandstone fins, towering pinnacles and tall spires known as the Marching Men. We stop at Tower Arch for an optional hike.
As you travel along the track, hear informative commentary about the geology, wildlife and history of the park.
We make another stop at Eye of the Whale for an optional hike to a seldom visited slick rock playground named Herdina Park.
After exploring the backcountry we exit through the stunning Courthouse Towers before your guide returns you to Moab.

Every 4x4 tour needs a minimum of 3 individuals to run. If your trip does not meet the minimum, you will be offered other tour options or get a full refund (Another option is to pay for the 3rd fare)

Arches National Park

5.00Abby was a fantastic driver and knew so much about the area, history, and geology! It was a little intimidating since I've never ridden in a 4x4 before but she was cool and confident so it was mostly just fun! We saw dinosaur tracks and learned about the colors in rock. There was almost no one else on the backroads so it was so nice to have the space all to ourselves. The short hikes were a bit strenuous but well worth it to see the arches up close and personal. She had great energy and made sure we got to see everything and run on time. Abby was gracious enough to recommend Milt's and drop me off there at the end! Perfect way to end the trip.

5.00If you are visiting (or living) in Utah this is the place to go to at least once in your life (I have been there 10+ times... but then I live in town too). Hikes available for small and large, young and not so young. This photo from 2012.

5.00Expect a wonderful and adventurous outing. Very rugged back roads which take you deep into the park. The tower arch is magnificent and is an 8-mile walk if you do it on your own. Our guide took us to where it was only about a half mile walk. Our guide Allen was very knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel very safe traversing the rough terrain. We had a great time!

5.00Our guide, Courtney, was wonderful. She took us off road at Arches National Park, and sometimes, off off road to beautiful uncrowded areas of the park. Courtney is an excellent and safe driver and hugely knowledgeable about the area’s history, the best places to visit at the park and provided great ideas for photos. We enjoyed our tour with Courtesy so much that we requested her as our guide the following day.
