The Cape Hatteras National Seashore is a must see on Hatteras Island. On this kayak tour, we frequently spot ospreys, pelicans, herons, egrets, ibis, terns, rails, skimmers, wrens, and warbles just to name a few. 5.00Such a fun trip through marsh filled with birds and along the coast! Our guide was fun, relaxed and encouraging…he knew a lot about the birds and interesting facts about the outer banks

5.00Trey was an excellent guide with lots of knowledge of the area and its wildlife. We were incredibly lucky that we were able to get within about 10 feet of a heron as it was hunting, and the water was incredibly calm and clean. We finished up watching an incredible sunset from the beach as we got back as well.

1.00Guide didnt show up, called and said there was a scheduling issue, placing him on the schedule without his knowledge. Asked for a refund. Drove an hour and a half each way from Corolla for nothing.

4.00Our guide Nick was excellent, very helpful and friendly. We all got very sunburnt because it was cloudy and rainy when we e left the house, but turned sunny and hot. Moral of the story is always wear sunblock no matter what.

5.00Our guide, Henry, was fun, informative, and shared great stories about the local lore. The scenery was beautiful and the sunset was lovely. Definitely an upper body workout for 2hrs of kayaking, so be ready lol. But other times we stopped rowing and flowed with the breeze.

5.00We had a great time! Our group was small when we took the 6 o'clock tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The waters were calm so while you will exercise it is nothing too strenuous. We saw all sorts of birds and fish. The waters are also quite shallow so even weaker swimmers can enjoy the experience.
