Simpson Bay
Captain Bob's most popular speed boat, snorkeling and beach tour is a full day, 5 stop adventure of a lifetime that is uniquely designed to show you the very best of both the French and Dutch sides of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. Departing from Philipsburg, you'll first head past the islands of Saba, Statia and St. Barts before passing under the bridge into Simpson Bay Lagoon, the biggest lagoon in the Caribbean. While sightseeing in the lagoon you will be taken aback by the size of the million dollar "mega yachts" of the rich and famous that frequent the island in the wintertime. After officially crossing onto the French side of the island you will make your way around Marigot, Happy Bay, Friar's Bay and finally Grand Case.
Tintamarre Island
Your first stop is the island of Tintamarre, an uninhabited island within the French Nature Reserve that is only accessible by boat and where large groups are forbidden, a great way to escape the cruise ship crowds. Here your knowledgable captain will give you a brief tutorial, provide you with snorkel gear and flotation devices and send you off to snorkel with the protected sea turtles and stingrays that reside there.

5.00WooHoo! What a super fun day! Boat ride was exciting, fast, and Bret and Dillon provided lots of jokes and levity - got a little history to boot. Snorkeling was ok, but riding around most of the island was the highlight. Lunch had about 6 kinds if sandwiches (I had crab salad). There were sidt drinks as well as rum and cokes (and beer). At the end, got to see a plane land over Maho Beach Wow! Just the very best day 😎

5.00This was by far the best day of my entire trip! Everything was absolutely perfect, and the staff were incredible. Brent and Dylan couldn’t have been better, they truly made the experience unforgettable. There were endless laughs, and I felt like I saw parts of the island you simply can’t experience from land. If you’re visiting the island and looking for the perfect day, this is absolutely the thing to do. The lunch was amazing, the views were stunning, and the boat was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. An incredible day overall, I will definitely be booking with this company again on my next visit!

5.00We stayed in St. Maarten for a week, and this was the highlight of our entire trip! The staff was great and provided local and historical information about the island. They stopped at the best snorkeling locations, played some great music, let us go to several great beaches, and caught the best photo op of the planes flying overhead Maho beach. So glad we had this experience. Highly recommend!

5.00Ashton and Anthony were incredible hosts and navigators on our trip today to Anguilla. They provided for all our needs. As many bottles of water or beer and for those partaking, rum mixed drinks, great sandwiches, snacks and fruit. We lucked out with perfect weather and live music on rendezvous beach. While snorkelling over a massive coral reef I saw an array of different fish and sea animals including a group of squid. This surprised me as it’s the first time I saw these creatures swimming around. All the beaches were beautiful white sand including west Shoal bay beach. I even got to shop for some souvenirs at a little beachfront gift stall. We also got to marvel at the many mega yachts anchored at Rendezvous Beach. A must do excursion. Avoid the line ups at the ferry and customs and the stress of renting a car just to go around to the beaches, especially if only planning a day-trip. Another plus for someone who usually suffers sea sickness early into any voyage was that this boat speeds along so fast you barely feel anything. I was worried and did take a couple of anti nausea pills on the way down but didn’t take any on the way back. I was completely fine. Best value for the money. Just wish more people tipped our excellent hosts. My suggestion would be to get a large pail or glass jar and write “tips” on it so people get the message that if you’re happy you should share your good fortune with those who worked hard all day to make this possible. Thank you again guys. I would definitely do this again. I come every year to Sxm so you will likely see me again.
New Experience with Lots of New Sights

5.00I've been in a speedy boat on a lake, but never a genuine speed boat in open waters. Very different experience. My wife and I were among the 14 passengers on this 900 hp adventure. It's the fastest way to take in a lot of coastline. Lot's of waves, but no sea sickness for us. My sister is very susceptible to sea sickness. Wearing a patch and sitting in the back, she had no discomfort at all. I was near the front. It's a lot more energetic up there. You won't feel like your life is in danger, but you'll certainly be hanging on tightly. Most of the trip is either harbor or tame side of the island. The transition to a small neighboring island is the part that will really wake you up. In full transparency, that 15 minute passage was a bit un-nerving (but, the captain indicated that our particular day was close to the wave-limit which he was willing to do). Captain Brent was a load of fun and full of insightful tidbits to make it an interesting journey. He seemed perfectly competent as a seaman. Though the sights would have been good enough by themselves, he added to the experience. The first spot for snorkeling was more of a swim than a snorkel (it was a grass bed that is frequented by turtles). We saw one turtle, which some of the people were satisfied with. Personally, I would have preferred time on that beach. The second place we went to (boat-only beach hangout) was pretty cool and the iguanas welcomed us to their home. The third stop was good snorkeling. There, I saw lots of fish species, several significant schools, and another turtle. Finally, we stopped by a more exclusive beach on the way back. This water was amazing. I would call this a swim area as well though there was a fair amount of fish including a large barracuda. The clarity was good in both snorkeling spots... but that final spot was immaculate. This is not a sit back and relax catamaran type of cruise. Teenagers are going to love being jostled around up front or catching a lot of splash in the back. It was the perfect amount of excitement for us (middle age plus a little). I happily recommend to anyone who wants a little more than just chillin on the beach.

5.00We had a perfect day. The weather was beautiful, we were able to stop at several different snorkeling and beach stops and had a great time. We were able to circle Saint Martin completely. This tour was appropriate for all ages. We got to swim with turtles, saw dolphins and tons of other fish. No complaints! Captain and first mate were excellent. We would definitely book this trip again.
