Stop by the town of Merthyr Tydfil to take photos at Cyfarthfa Castle, located in a picturesque park.

Enter the National Park to visit Henrhyd Falls, the tallest and most spectacular waterfall in South Wales.

Proceed to the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog and enjoy a short stop at the second oldest tree in Wales, a stunning yew tree that is 3018 years old.

Stop in Brecon town, where you can admire the canals—voted the prettiest in Britain.

Visit the Bannau Brycheiniog Visitor Centre and enjoy a pleasant stroll surrounded by beautiful hills and stunning mountains.

Marvel at Caerphilly Castle, the largest in Wales and a UNESCO World Heritage site (optional activity, entry free not included) or

take a stroll around this magnificent fortress, or relax with an ice cream in the town.

Please note that the visit to the waterfalls will involve a 30 minutes walk. The path may be steep and muddy, so we recommend wearing boots and rainproof clothing.

Today’s review is gonna be all about Max. Super friendly, charming guide. He does his job well, and really knows his history about our different stops. He welcomed questions through out the tour. If I could have him show me around Wales, I would.

What an absolutely awesome tour of Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons! Max was a wealth of knowledge and care. We experienced an absolutely beautiful waterfall in the Beacons! Some found it challenging, but I found it exhilarating! I went behind the falls and soaked in the beauty of the area and the glorious sound! Then visited the town of Beacon. What a pleasure! The tour continued to Castell Caerffili. The opportunity to have adequate time to absorb the magnificent castle made the tour. This tour has my highest recommendation!

Small group trip of 8 maximum. There were 6 of us and it was perfect. The guide was very friendly the magnificent visit, which allowed us to discover a little more the country of galls . only one flat he spoke only in English . Being French and speaking very little English an audio guide would have been perfect.

Max was so kind and patient. He made sure that we didn't feel rushed. He provided excellent history and recommendations throughout the day. We saw a wide variety of places in south Wales and it exceeded all expectations.

It was wonderful to see the beautiful Wales countryside. This tour was jam packed with activities. Max was a awesome tour guide. He was very informative. The falls was a bit challenging for me. I walk with a cane but not severely dependant on it. I used a set of hiking poles to steady myself. There is a steep decline to the falls and the climb back up was tuff. Max assured me that he would wait for me if need be or if it was too much for me I could turn back and return to the van. I managed the trip there and back and out paced the group. It takes 20 minutes each way. Wear shoes with treads, the path is rocky and slippery. Im glad I attempted the trip to the falls. It was worth the pain in my legs.

I had an amazing experience on the day tour. The guide was both knowledgeable and engaging, making the journey even more enjoyable. We visited many stunning locations, and it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely book with this company again in the future.
