This self-guided, self-paced audio walking tour will explore the rugged Carmel coastline where you will have stunning views of Point Lobos, Carmel Beach and Carmel River State Beach. The tour winds its way through the charming tree-lined streets of Carmel Point where you'll discover a number of the unique homes built on this one-time windswept treeless bluff.

Along the way, you'll hear about Carmel's famous houses, its flora and fauna, the movies filmed on the point, and the first softball league in the US. You'll come across some colorful characters from the past such as Jean Arthur and Robinson Jeffers.

Learned so much! Gorgeous views. Cannot recommend these tours more! They are the perfect socially distant activity
See the world famous Frank Lloyd Wright House, Tour House and the Butterfly House . . . just to name a few.

After we completed this author's wonderful Scenic Road Tour of Carmel we knew there had to be more. And sure enough this tour picks up where her Scenic Tour left off and led us on an exploration of an even more beautiful part of the Carmel coastline (hard to believe but true). Some really iconic houses right on the sea cliffs including the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright house (looks just like a ship sailing out to sea), the Tour House (looks a bit like an old stone castle) and the world famous "Butterfly House". This author really knows her stuff; sharing with us some really interesting historical tidbits along the way. So much fun and SOOO beautiful.
