In this two hour workshop, you will learn with our jade carver experts about the ancestral art of designing, cutting and carving your own piece of jade, that you will be able to take with you and show it off as a necklace, bracelet or keychain. It is a unique experience, where you will learn why jade has been so important to our land and our ancestors, and how it relates to life and love. 5.00This was such a fun experience! Elmer was so helpful with guiding us through the process of picking our jade piece, designing the shape we liked, cutting, sanding and polishing! I definitely recommend this experience to anyone coming to Antigua!

5.00Such a cool activity. Loved learning about the background of Jade in Guatemala. We were able to pick out a colour and choose our own design. So awesome creating a piece of jewellery instead of purchasing. Davide and Priscilla made the whole experience 10/10. Highly reccomend and would definitely go back!

5.00The Jade carving class was a great experience. When we arrived, Dario gave us a quick and informative tour. We were then brought to the front room to begin our class with David. He was extremely helpful and charismatic! We got to choose between lavender, green, and black jade pieces. We sanded them 3 times, then polished them. It was amazing to see how it transformed throughout the process! The equipment was easy and safe to use. You may get really wet though and it may be difficult to work if you have long nails. We got to choose between a necklace, bracelet, or ring, but keep in mind that a ring may take 4-5 days to finish. Anyway, have fun!

5.00Only 2 of us in the group this time so we got lots of attention from the tour leader and access to the required machinery when we need3d them. Tour leader was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. A really enjoyable experience with a souvenir I actually made myself!
