This award winning tour offers a unique, multi-eco experience. Kayak among the many small islands that make up St. Thomas' Mangrove Lagoon, including the pristine Cas Cay. This wildlife sanctuary and marine reserve is world famous for its winding, shallow waterways, beautiful mangrove trees with nesting birds, and colorful marine life. Hike and explore Cas Cay! Try your luck with a hermit crab race in a forest with an unusual community of thousands of hermit crabs. An eight minute walk along a level sandy, coral and shell rubble trail leads you to a dramatic area of cliffs with breathtaking views, tidal pools and a rare geologic blowhole. Relax and enjoy the sounds of the splashing water and the beautiful rock and cliff formations. Your guide will show you many new and interesting creatures and unforgettable places. After an eight minute hike back to the kayaks, you will don your mask, snorkel and life jacket and snorkel with colorful fish and sting rays.

The hike is 8 minutes in each direction on an uneven, level sandy trail mixed with coral rubble
Please bring a bathing suit and towel, shoes that can get wet, and sun protection including sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc.
Minimum age is 2 years old.

1.00Tour unprepared, relocated multiple times before boarding shuttle bus to excursion. Tour guide Elena was fantastic, calm and patient trying to navigate the coordination of the shuttle which was 30 minutes late or more.

4.00It was extremely hot, but they were very concerned about our safety. This is evident from their efforts to ensure we had sunscreen and water. It was a lot of fun, but if you don’t like crabs, don’t go because there’s a section where you walk through and there are thousands of them. I’m not exaggerating; you have to be careful with your step. While snorkeling, you need to be aware of your surroundings to avoid crashing into someone, as the people there aren’t always aware of their own position or yours. The water eventually gets shallow, and I ended up cutting myself on a rock. If you’re not from here, make sure to apply a lot of sunscreen because you’ll get sunburned. They have great photo opportunities, and I loved the tour guide; he was quite funny. The kayaking part was rough, but overall, it was a great experience!

5.00Absolutely amazing service and hospitality! Beautiful pictures, incredible fun facts/knowledge, and kind workers!!! Keit (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) provided a great experience and never failed to check up on our needs. 10/10 experience from our tour guild!!! There was no urgency from him and he made sure to leave the guests with a beautiful memory. He constantly asked if we needed more water or sunblock as well as keeping us safe. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful views and made us all laugh. Thank you Eco Tours for sharing your scenery and your experienced tour guild!

5.00Awesome trip and worth it. Simple kayak trip with a fun 1.5 hour tour and snorkel stop at the island. Highlight of our family trip (2 adults, 16 yr old, 12 yr old). Swish was our guide and did a great job leading us. We did the private tour and it was worth it.

5.00Our guide John was informative, engaging, and fun to listen to! We learned about the mangrove and it's important role in the beautiful ecosystem. Thanks to John we got to see sea urchin, jellyfish, rays, barracuda, lionfish and more! John's humor and knowledge of Cas Cay made the experience unforgettable! Definitely worth and highly recommend! 5.00we had a great time with our awesome tour guide jonathan who was very helpful with telling us recommendations on where to go and about the area! he also taught us lots of history and fun facts about the area and creatures!
