This award winning tour offers a unique, multi-eco experience. Kayak among the many small islands that make up St. Thomas' Mangrove Lagoon, including the pristine Cas Cay. This wildlife sanctuary and marine reserve is world famous for its winding, shallow waterways, beautiful mangrove trees with nesting birds, and colorful marine life. Hike and explore Cas Cay! Try your luck with a hermit crab race in a forest with an unusual community of thousands of hermit crabs. An eight minute walk along a level sandy, coral and shell rubble trail leads you to a dramatic area of cliffs with breathtaking views, tidal pools and a rare geologic blowhole. Relax and enjoy the sounds of the splashing water and the beautiful rock and cliff formations. Your guide will show you many new and interesting creatures and unforgettable places. After an eight minute hike back to the kayaks, you will don your mask, snorkel and life jacket and snorkel with colorful fish and sting rays.

At Virgin Islands Ecotours you will find a gift shop, restroom facilities, dressing rooms and lockers for your valuables.

The hike is 8 minutes in each direction on an uneven, level sandy trail mixed with coral rubble

Please bring a bathing suit and towel, shoes that can get wet, and sun protection including sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc.

Minimum age is 2 years old.

    We had an amazing experience on this tour with Virgin Island Eco Tours. We did the Cas Cay Kayaking, Hike and Snorkel Adventure and loved it! The guides were super knowledgeable and great at interacting with everyone in our small group. The snorkeling was definitely the highlight for us. The only downside would be the lack of corals but that seems to be everywhere now with all of the die off that has happened. We did get to see a crazy amount of beautiful and colorful fish while snorkeling. I highly recommend this tour in St Thomas and would not hesitate to book again in the future.

    Alonso and Spider did a fantastic job with our tour and I would tell everyone I know to use them!! They are both very knowledgeable about the mangroves and where they can find creatures for us to see up close!

    Awesome sealife - sea urchin, live conch shell, hermit crab race. Snorkeling was easy here in calm waters. Great exploring with Swoosh and Francis!

    My partner and I had an amazing experience!!! Tour guides are funny, knowledgeable, and great advocates for ocean life. You get so much bang for your buck - but I don't want to spoil too much. Bring water safe hiking boots! We were able to walk on the rocks with ease in them.

    Tyrell and Perez were awesome!! We got to go kayaking through mangroves, snorkeling through very clear water and the hike was amazing too. Along the way we saw starfish, rays, jellyfish, large fish, schools of fish, and sea urchins! We got to touch and hold a lot of the animals, the pictures and videos we got were great! We had a hermit crab race! The guides were amazing and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Would recommend this to anyone to enjoy!

    Alonzo was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and fun. Hermit crabs, spinny star fish, sea urchin, poison tree.....great pictures. Great work out kayaking. Snorkeling we saw a stingray. Hiking was not strenuous, but rocky. Highly recommend.
