This is the origin point for our tour. The property that Casa de Vino 57 is located at what is known as the Joaneda House. While here the tour discusses this property and some food for thought about the remainder of the tour. Pena-Peck House and Woman's Exchange of St Augustine
The Historic Pena-Peck House Museum and Gift Shop is one of 35 first Spanish Period buildings in downtown Saint Augustine. It was built by order of King Ferdinand VI for Juan Estevan de Pena, the Royal Spanish Treasurer.

5.00Jonathan has a wealth of knowledge about the history of SA. Not just British history but ANYTHING you want to know about SA. He gives you his fullest attention and is not in a hurry. He loves his subject and you can tell by his passionate discussion. We enjoyed a little personal time with him over a glass of wine after the tour to get to know his quirky, humorous personality. He is a delight and an amazing intellectual. Thank you Jonathan!
