Castara Bay is located off the leeward coast of Tobago and set in the small fishing village of Castara. This small beach is one of the island’s hidden gems. When you are not enjoying the sparkling blue water, you can enjoy the sandy beach shaded by many palm trees and coconut trees, or watch the fishermen preparing the nets to bring in their daily catch. Some visitors have even helped with the nets–an experience in an of itself. Visitors to Castara Bay have fallen in love with it stating things as “tropical small island cove,” and “fell in love with the place [and] will be back. If you are looking to experience the unspoilt beauty of the island, Castara Bay is a must see! Snorkeling, swimming, relaxing…Be sure to bring your sunscreen as the Tobago sun can be very hot. This tour includes a professional, licensed guide and an air-conditioned vehicle.

Great day on a secluded beach

5.00What a wonderful, relaxing treasure we found with this excursion. Our driver, Terry, was very attentive and makes the best rum punch we’ve ever had. Food was amazing. But the beach was so beautiful and secluded - felt like it was our own private beach. We’re planning our trip back!

5.00I did this excursion last year and I have to say it was exceptional. Terry thought of everything and the careful details and planning really delivered a special day to remember forever. We stopped for a delicious lunch at the picturesque suck hole before a boat collected us from our table to take us on a tour of the coves and beaches, snorkelling and finally stopped dropped us off at the most beautiful and breathtaking beach, pirates bay. We spent the afternoon on the secluded and unspoilt remote beach which was meditative and relaxing swimming and relaxing. The stunning waters with lush green mountainous backdrop was perfection and still remains my happy place I visit when meditating all the way back home in London. The boat came back to collect us late afternoon and Terry dropped us back to our accommodation in crown point. There was so many little gems and added extras along the way like stopping to see the peacocks and at beatiful lookouts to take in the views. I can’t recomend enough!

5.00We met Terry two years ago and he took us on whole day trip over the island to lots of lovely places. Terry explained us so many interesting things, provided food and drinks, organized a boat tour to snorkeling in bloody bay and made us snorkeling with stingrays in Parlatuvier. It was an unforgettable day and since then we experienced also other highlights with him and are happy to meet a friend when we’re back in Tobago.
