Join our trip to some selected sites located in the Eagles’ Nests Landscape Park. During our one-day trip you will have a chance to see some amazing mediaeval buildings as well as some picturesque landscapes of the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland.
The Trail of the Eagles’ Nests is a tourist route running through the Małopolskie and Śląskie Voivodeships. It starts in Krakow and terminates in Częstochowa and has a span of 164 kilometers. The route’s name comes from the ruins of the castles and strongholds lying along it. They are called “Eagles’ Nests” due to their location on rocks, some of which are 30-meters high.

And amazing day out exploring castles

5.00We took this tour in mid April as a private tour and it was truly stunning. Our guide Maciej was amazing. He picked us up and on the way to the first castle and throughout the whole trip he explained so much about the area, the castles and Polish history. Very intersting. We had plenty of tie to explore. We do higly recomment this trip and will be doing it again when we´ll be in Cracow. We are travelling a lot, but this was for sure one of the best tours we´ve ever done.

5.00Maciej was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable. Castles were absolutely beautiful. Maciej gave us plenty of time for pictures and to explore. Price is more than worth it given how much you get (travel + admissions to all Castles). 10/10 must-do tour.

5.00Maciej was an absolutely amazing guide. My son and I were lucky to be his only tour participants. We were treated like family! Maciej shared personal stories that gave us insights into Poland past and present. He knew the castles and their history and personally showed us around at all of them. He would even send us up ahead while he paid for parking then would run up to meet us and give extra context for what we were seeing. It was the perfect day. I can’t recommend it more highly!

5.00Our tour guide was great. Very personable, knowledgeable and focused on the tour. We missed a few things due to it being winter and some locations closed or too far away while the sun is up but would recommend this to everyone.

5.00Five of us traveled together in a comfortable van with a very knowledgeable and kind man named Matthew. All along the way he provided information about historical battles, rulers, villages, nature, and personal experiences. We visited the seven most popular castles along eagles nest and I won’t lie, it was a work out. My mother, with a bad hip and two bad knees, joined us for the day, and though there were some staircases she couldn’t manage, Matthew was able to help her avoid these and provide her with alternative routes and views that she could manage. We were aLeo accommodated with plenty of bathroom stops for my kids as well. Because we went in early November, the tours were devoid of tourists and leaf covered trees. This provided us with some absolutely amazing views and photos. Pack a lunch and plenty of water and enjoy the tour! You will not regret this one.
