  Zan was a great guide! We had an awesome time, and all the places we went were so friendly! Would 100% recommend! We got to try a variety of food, and it was all so good!

  Excellent food tour around the market and food stalls with Zan. We sampled coconut, fruits, salt fish and other local dishes. A lovely way to spend 2.5 hours.

  Jasmine, our guide, was excellent. Great personality and knowledge made the 2.5hrs fly by, and with 21 different tastes of local food and drinks along the way you would be wise to go hungry. Her warm and friendly style so typical on the Island made this a lovely expereince. We would recommend this tour guide and walking tour to anyone who wants and authentic and relaxed taste of St Lucia.

  Jasmine really looked after us. We went around the market and tasted amazing local food - Doubles, coco tea, salt fish bake, peanut sea moss “smoothie”. We also experienced the myriad choices of different tasting mango and finished off with some local bouillon, stew and drink. Jasmine is super friendly and full of smiley energy. • Good tour for folks who like to try new foods

  My husband and I love to learn about local cuisine whenever we go on a trip. Because St. Lucia isn't much of a wander-type island, this tour was perfect for what we were looking for. We had to book a driver from our resort and back, if you're on a cruise, getting there would be much easier. We met our tour guide, Rawn, right on time and right where she said she'd be. First stop was a fruit stand, we got to try a bunch of local in-season fruit. As it was December, the options were not as plentiful as summer, but it was still tasty and interesting. Next stop was a salt cod sandwich type pastry and cocoa tea. The cocoa tea was soooo good. Reminded me a little of the horchata in Barcelona. Then we stopped on a street corner and got doubles. By far the best meal of the tour (and probably the whole trip). My husband wanted to find more of those the rest of the trip. Then we stopped at a local restaurant for a traditional lunch. We had a few options to choose from, I chose stewed chicken and my husband got stewed pork. The best part were the various local steamed tubers we got to try. Then we got a coconut roll pastry, and the tour was over. FYI - I was fine walking in flip flops, but I'm younger and active. All in all we would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning about and trying different cuisines.

  I loved the Rodney Bay tour so much I booked the Castries market tour direct with Lucian Food tours on my next trip! Our guide did a fantastic job telling us about the local food and culture, and we got to see some of the important sights in Castries like the cathedral and Derek Walcott square, and, of course, the market, in between sampling delicious foods! It’s a great overview of the local dishes and a wonderful way to see a bit of the city with an engaging and personable guide.

  Our guide Zena gave us a fun morning of experiencing Lucian markets and food. The 'caveats' on the web ad say 'come hungry'. Believe it! We tasted local fruits at the Castries market, had a couple of stops for typical mid-morning snacks, and finished with lunch at a local small restaurant (tourists would never find it). Plus all kinds of local information along the way. Alltogether, a pleasant and filling tour. Would recommend.

  Unique, insightful, delicious! You try 28 different types of food and learn more about the history and local island. Our tour guide Kerzandy was wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind. This is a one of a kind experience - highly recommend!
