  Sofia was amazing—very informative and knowledgeable. She was also very helpful, making other recommendations for our visit. We especially enjoyed her personal stories and perspectives. She was particularly attentive in assuring an excellent tour as well as an overall excellent experience in Seville!!

  We had a fantastic tour of the Maria Louisa park, the former Jewish quarter, the Seville Cathedral and to the top of the Giralda. Sofia was so knowledgeable and engaging, such a warm helpful person who went out of her way to also point out local hidden things along our walk. It was a privilege to be learning from someone with such a deep historical knowledge of the area. We thoroughly recommend her tour.

  It is so helpful to have such a knowledgeable guide to curate an experience through this huge Cathedral. There is so much history and so many layers, that we would have been lost without her. Sofia showed us a bit of the detail in a succinct tour and also gave us more tips on what to explore next. Thank you so much for your help.

  We did two tours with Sofia - the Cathedral and the Alcazar. They were both excellent. Sofia was interesting and engaging and had a wealth of knowledge about the history. For the cathedral tour she arrived really early so that she could get the first spot in line so we would have the best experience in spite of the crowds.

  Sofia was a great tour guide! The Cathedral is an amazing and immense site and Sofia really told a great story, hitting all the highlights and giving you a great sense of the place. She was really responsive and helpful beyond just the tour with her recommendations around Seville. Definitely recommend!

  Sofia was such a wonderful and accommodating guide! We are a family of 5 from the Philippines, and I had contacted her quite last minute — about a week before our arrival. Still, she did her best to find time for us in her schedule as well as make recommendations for the times she wasn’t free. I really appreciated the communication and tips in the days leading up to our tour. The cathedral was stunning and my family and I are so glad we chose Sofia to guide us through it. She was very knowledgeable and shared information in detail, but also gave us ample time to pause and appreciate the cathedral on our own. All the while, making the tour feel personal as she answered our questions and shared her experiences in Seville. I would also like to commend Sofia’s safety precaution of masking up — especially since the holidays are busy and many people get sick. We felt her concern for us, her clients, and her own circle of people. I think this is a valuable trait in a guide since they encounter people on a regular basis whose backgrounds — health or otherwise — all differ. As a bonus, at my mother’s request, Sofia brought us to a shop nearby with a beautiful selection of mantones de Manila or Manila Shawls, and abanicos. This was a very short but special visit to Sevilla, with many thanks to Sofia’s assistance. We definitely would love to visit again — and for longer, and would gladly get Sofia as a guide again.

  Sofia is extremely knowledgeable, and also displays an exceptional commitment to tailoring the way she shares this knowledge to the ages and interests of the people in the group. For our multigenerational family group of six, she came prepared with questions and comments that kept the youngest engaged while offering detailed information and perspectives to the parents and grandparents. We found our tour of the Alcazar with her so meaningful that we arranged a second tour the next day of the Cathedral. Sofia enriched each tour with pictures and graphic displays on her tablet. These images added historical perspective to understanding present structures. She helped us appreciate the significance of the buildings in both past and present Sevilla. Beyond the two tours, Sofia offered many helpful suggestions for other places to visit during our time in Sevilla. She is truly an ambassador for her city, sharing her enthusiasm about the many different ways to enjoy it. We look forward to having more tours with Sofia when we visit again!
