Great for Families arriving on CruiseLine or staying at local hotels; We meet you at the Belize Cruise Port, hotels, marine terminals. The tour starts one hour after the ship arrives in Belize. Staff carries the tubes to the caves entrance. The tubes have mesh seat bottom and Head Rest, the guides provide you with a Helmet, jacket and lights. The walk continues for twenty minutes crossing the river three times, upon arrival at the caves, here is a optional swim spot, you are provided with a luxury tube with head-rest, mesh bottom seating and rope links making the float very easy as the guide navigates the tubes thru the cave system beneath the Maya mountains, the caves have many formations and a small waterfall and the guides provide geological and historical information as you float, the float continues downstream. After the Cave activity, purchase your Lunch as there are several restaurants at the park with varied menus for you to choose your preferences.

Would do it again. Walk to cave was more like 30 min not 15 as described. Overall great experience!!!!

This was a long ridge to the river and cave but a comfortable journey. The guides were wonderful friendly and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed the day and inside the cave was beautiful and very enjoyable. No worries for our safety whatsoever

Site directed me to this excursion based on the cruise (Norwegian) I was on. It was impossible to take this tour because it was hours by boat to get there and the tour operator knew it! I had an email (that was flagged as junk) notifying me the evening before to tell me I couldn't take it. Tour Operator told me to get refund from booking agent, which was Viator. Viator stated tour operator denied refund. Both knew it was impossible for us to take the tour, yet they took the booking and money and refused a refund. That is stealing. Also experience review won't allow certain words to warn others.

Unfortunately, our tour started out on sour note. We were informed evening before we needed to be at the meeting point 1hr after ship docked despite the fact voucher said 9AM & our ship was docking at 7AM so we clarified & asked if we needed to be there at 8 or 9? we were informed 8 so we woke early & rushed to tender, we arrived before 8, were escorted to van, we then sat on a hot empty van til after 9- none of the guides greeted us or explained we were still waiting for others. We could have explored nearby shopping but by the time others arrived after 9 we were frustrated- No one apologized. Our guide Abner for cave tubing did not take time to explain what to expect, was not patient, or helpful to guide us over slippery rocks we felt like an inconvenience in his day - we were disappointed even though we were the only 3 people on his tour we felt like he had no patience for us. Caves were beautiful but this was not the experience we hoped for. Very disappointing day

SCAM DO NOT BOOK!! The tour operators were not at the meeting point at 9:00 a.m. as promised. When we arrived, they falsely claimed we weren’t there, even though we provided photo evidence. They read our messages and saw the photos but did not respond, canceled our booking, and are now trying to keep our money. We’re currently disputing the charge with our bank!

We had the most amazing tour guide and his name was CARDINAL. I would say that anyone experiencing this cave tour would be blessed. He was so knowledgeable with the history/culture of the Mayans as well as knowledgeable about the caves. He wanted us to have an amazing day in this incredible gorgeous place and we did. Our journey began in an air conditioned vehicle with point of references along the way. We took a wonderful stroll through this amazing forest and we were educated on the ecosystem and when we arrived at the river we were greeted with our tubes awaiting the peaceful ride through the cave. Cardinal made sure that we arrived back to our port on time. We were not rushed. It was truly a beautiful day!! Our favorite excursion.

Avoid at all costs. Especially if you’re on a cruise. We were told to be here at 7:15am ship time. When we called, the operator was still asleep. It’s now almost 10am and we’re still stuck waiting while they make excuse after excuse. Their “reason”? They’re stalling to sell more seats at the dock, stringing us along with lies about people “coming on the next tender.” Not true. The tender unloads and leaves. They’re just wasting paying customers’ time to squeeze in extra bookings. We were promised a 5-hour tour. Another lie. It’s really 1 hour there, 1 hour back, and 2 hours sitting in the cave because it’s “not busy.” “It’s 3 hours when it’s busy.” Meanwhile, other companies were already taking their guests out. By the time we finally get there, it will be jam-packed—after we lost half our day sitting around. And if that’s not enough, the operator himself is macho, rude to women, aggressive, and a bully. Poorly organized, run and extremely rude. AVOID THIS OPERATOR! Don’t know how they got positive reviews. Viator did a less then zero effort helping us.

Shawn was absolutely amazing for our cave tubing experience. We did not have a lot of time but he worked very hard to make sure we had the best experience ever! He went above and beyond and treated us like royalty.

Abnar was AMAZING! He was knowledgeable and incredibly kind. Not only did he drive us to and from the park, he shared knowledge of the city and the local culture. The caves were awesome but our guide made this an experience we will never forget.
