Eleven miles northeast of Boerne at 325 Kreutzberg Rd. in the scenic Texas Hill Country is Cave Without a Name, a natural, living cavern, and some say the most beautiful in Texas. The the cave is 39 miles from downtown San Antonio. It was opened for public tours in 1939, and is designated a National Natural Landmark. Experienced guides take you on a tour which is both entertaining and educational for visitors of all ages. It begins with a magical descent down 126 steps taking you back in time many thousands of years. Eighty feet below the surface, the cave maintains a constant temperature of 66 degrees. The complexity of the cave formations make the first visit and every subsequent visit an awakening experience of nature's underground masterpiece. *Uber & Lyft are difficult to obtain return passage from our location so we recommend you have a scheduled return if you use those services.

Come experience the magnificent underground world! Cave without a Name is filled with spectacular formations of Stalactites, Stalagmites, delicate Soda Straws, Cave Drapery, Flowstones, Rimstone Dams, and more which formed over thousands of years in complete darkness. Enjoy a one hour tour of the six major rooms in comfort of 66 degrees year-round with easy walkways and brilliant lighting. Our cave tour allows guests to take in the experience in a small group. Arrive early or stay late and have a picnic from your favorites in your basket. Above ground activities include our Gift Shop, a Gemstone/Fossil Sluice, Geode slicing, and a shaded Canyon Rim Trail to take a hike. Ages 5 and under are free with a paid adult ticket. All prices include tax.

Great experience, well worth it but call directly and reserve your space and then buy your tix at the venue. Ordering tix thru website tacked on a $5/ person transaction fee.

This was a very informative and interesting guided tour of the Cave Without A Name. I went with my husband and son and it was a wonderful family experience. If you like caves this is very well lighted and easy to navigate. We thoroughly enjoyed this outing.

Off the beaten path is the most amazing cavern adventure. The tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cavern itself was very breathtaking. Such a fun unexpected experience. Would definately recommend to anyone who enjoys a fun venture away from the big city.

I had seen some reviews about this place, and they did not exaggerate! This was such a great experience. We had both been to other caves/caverns, but this one is quite a little gem. Our guide, Steve, was great and very knowledgeable about the cave and its geology. We had originally had other plans for the day and were glad that I had found this gem on the internet. I’ve seen comments about the 126 steps, but we’re in our 70s and this was no big deal.

My husband has loved caves since he was a teenager, so we had to see this one. We were late for our 11am tour and had no trouble rebooting to the 12pm tour. The guide really loved that cave and pointed out so many beautiful formations. He went at a slow enough pace to allow for picture taking and questions. This cave was different from others we've seen and we've seen a lot of caves. The guide was able to answer almost every question I asked. The paved paths were easy to walk, although s sometimes wet and a little slippery. We would highly recommend this tour- just beware- there are quite a number of stairs going in and coming out.

There is one way in, and one way out. You have to be able to walk down 126 stone steps in order to get to the bottom. Our guide was great and what we saw was awesome in their natural beauty. But after the tour it was time to climb back up those same stone steps. We were allowed to take the at our own pace, but people need to be aware that there isn't an elevator to take you up or down.
