  I'm not always a huge fan of city tours, but this one was definitely worth it. It was incredibly educational and fun. The places we went to in the Itinerary were all worth it.

  We had a wonderful time! We really enjoyed the well curated itinerary. Our experience with our guide (Paul) felt personable. He is well informed and made us feel Cebuano. Highly recommended!

  Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the sites that we visited and was conscious of our wellbeing during the entire journey. We enjoyed interacting with Mr. Regen Paul Diaz and having small talk about various subjects. He was an excellent guide.

  Paul was very friendly and easy to work with. He got us to all of the tourist destinations we wanted to see and was always ready to take our picture! 📸

  We were asked to start the tour earlier to beat the traffic. We agreed to be picked up at 8.30 am. at that time, we were informed that the pickup is pushed back to 9.00 am. We were picked up by someone who took us to the first stop Basilica Minora. At this point, we were not sure whether he is the driver or/and the tour guide. It turner out later that he is both, we never got an introduction, a welcome or anything. Writing this review. we still don't even know his name. The driver never communicated a full sentence during the entire trip, no information were given to a anything we visited. Hence the visits were done within 5 minutes and therefore, we were asked at 10.40 am already whether we want to have lunch (as a reminder, we were picked up at 9 am., arrived at the first Basilica at 9.40). We declined to have lunch at 10.40 and asked to be transported to the next sight where at this point, he did not even care to walk with us but parked his car. We shortened the trip as there is no point in spending hours in a car and being dropped off like a piece of luggage. We skipped lunch altogether and the Sirao Pictoral Garden. We paid more than USD 150 for essentially a taxi ride which would have cost us a tiny fraction of what we paid. This 'tour' felt like a big scam to us. We would advise any traveller to take a taxi to the first four sights Basilica Minore, Magellan Cross (just in front of the Basilica), the National Museum (just cross the street I'd the Basilica) and the Fort San Pedro (30 meter walk from the National Museum). and then grab a second taxi for the Taoist temple and Temple of Leah (both are beautiful, and worth a visit). We are also disappointed by Viator that such a company is approved on its platform. We never experienced anything this bad on Get Your Guide. Again. this tour is a scam. You pay big amount of money for a driver but not a tour or your guide.

  Loved this tour, great day out seeing some amazing views and learning about Cebu. My tour guide Paul was amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommended doing this tour for a taster of Cebu and its history.

  I got to experience the public transport system, learn about the history of Cebu and taste local food. My tour guide was lovely af well versed in his information. But I think it fell short with where we visited. I felt unsafe with just myself and my guide walking the streets at night in areas where only the locals go. The church was beautiful but do wear pants or long skirt to enter. Beware of people wanting to sell you things from the street or kids approaching asking for money. Although these things were a little unsettling I did get to see how the locals love and shop.

  I enjoyed my private tour of the city, because I am a people person. I make connections better in a small group setting. I learned a lot about the history, city, people and culture of Cebu. I recommend learning basics knowledge about Cebu history and its people before exploring other areas of interest. Paul my tour guide receives a high rating for courtesy, knowledge, safe driving and being a good person.
