  I dove with Whitetip Marine Adventures out of Denarau Harbour today and can’t recommend them highly enough. Extremely professional, skilled, and genuinely knowledgeable guides. The dives were thoughtfully planned and clearly tailored to experience level, which made a huge difference. I did the Salamanda Wreck followed by The Outpost — two incredible, contrasting dives that showcased very different underwater environments. This was a world away from the short, token 30-minute resort dives I experienced earlier in the week with an island d-based operator. These were unrushed, full and well-executed dives and absolutely worth the extra effort of taking the ferry from the island I was staying on to the mainland. If you’re serious about diving in Fiji, it’s worth being discerning. There’s a stark difference between operators — don’t get sucked into convenience-based dive companies working off the islands. I’ll definitely be diving with Whitetip Marine Adventures again. Thanks so much to the whole team!

  Originally I had booked the 1 day 2 tank dive but after I had such an amazing experience the first day and a very knowledgeable scuba instructor whose name was Wise. I wanted to continue on and add the SSI Scuba Certification Program. I rearranged my entire trip around completing this course! Viator as my witness I must have canceled and rebooked my activities at least ten times! The staff is excellent the dives are outstanding and I highly recommend doing this if you ever wanted to try Scuba Diving in a relaxed no pressure & beautiful environment. Keep in mind I went Solo and had a blast! Shout out to owner Andrew of WhiteTip Adventures.❤️ Hey Ya’ll DO THIS!

  Amazing dive experience! My second time with this dive shop and it was a 5-star experience the first time back in 2019 and was again today. Saw many beautiful fish, turtles, lobster and white tip reef sharks. Also, we saw some very large colorful clams and an octopus. They did a great job to make sure everyone was safe and happy. I would highly recommend! We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back to Fiji and do it again!

  I wish I could give score of 10 to this company. Our adventures with Whitetip started in August 2024, doing the Open Water diving course. From the start we noticed that the owners and the staff really valued their customers. Not only top customer service but also when it comes to safety, they are in the top league. After getting qualified OWD divers certification, we decided to go back in December 2024, to upgrade our qualifications and do the Advanced Adventurers divers course. Same team, same values, same excellent result. Last week we spent another 6 days with Whitetip to get up to Advanced Specialty Diver, which included Deep Diving and Wreck Diving, and also having a few fun dives. In total 12 dives over 6 days with one rest day in between. No wonder the team feels like family to us and we are treated likewise. I never asked for a price upfront for the courses and dives, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with the very reasonable bill at the end. Thanks again to Andrew, Sharron, Seta (our main instructor, a very, very patient man), Monica, Kelly and Ivan, each of them contributing to our positive experiences. Hopefully we can see you guys another time. Ed and Angela

• Wonderful Return Experience with Whitetip Marine Adventures

  I first dived with Whitetip Marine Adventures back in August 2013 during our honeymoon in Fiji. We were incredibly well looked after and had an amazing experience with the team. This year, we returned to Fiji for a family reunion trip, and I reached out to Andrew to see if I could join a dive trip with them again. Even though we are certified divers, we hadn’t been diving for nearly 8 years. Andrew was very friendly and helpful—he responded to my email inquiry quickly and made me feel very welcomed. His warm communication had me even more excited to get back to Fiji! When it came time to dive, our guide Ivan Patrick was incredibly patient and supportive. I was nervous, especially at the beginning—I struggled to get into the water and the slight current made me anxious. Ivan stayed with me, calmly guiding and encouraging me until I was comfortable and able to start enjoying the dive again. Throughout the dives, Ivan kept checking in with us, ensuring we were safe and enjoying ourselves. He pointed out lots of amazing marine life—we saw turtles, sea snakes, clownfish (Nemo!), and more. It was truly a memorable and beautiful experience. Thank you, Ivan, for taking such good care of us and helping us feel confident in the water again. We're so grateful to have done our refresher dives with Whitetip Marine Adventures. If we return to Fiji a third time, there’s no question—we'll be diving with you again! Just wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the entire Whitetip team. You made our trip even more special.

  Easy communication. Helpful crew. Excellent hotel transfer. Saw reef sharks, turtles, lion fish, lobsters, sea snakes and tropical fish. Everything ran very smoothly.

• Great Dives and Experience with Whitetip

  My wife and I had a great experience diving with Whitetip. The dives that we had booked with a different operator fell through and I was able to book a two-tank dive with Whitetip and I’m very glad I did! The dives were great, the crew was incredibly friendly, and Andrew, the owner, was excellent in replying quickly and getting us booked, not to mention also very friendly!

  Could not have had a better experience with White Tip. The guides were very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience. And Andrew and the office were particularly wonderful - answering my many questions and even going above and beyond to help us store our bags. All wonderful people, would highly recommend!

  My first dive in the southern hemisphere and in tropical waters after qualifying in Europe. My 2 dives from the boat were better than I could have ever thought. So many colourful fish, healthy corals, black tip and white tip sharks, turtles and one huge eel. The dive team were really friendly and professional and explained everything clearly to the 5 divers. 3 dive instructors supported us underwater and split the group appropriately on our experience. I was picked up from a local hotel on time and Andrew met us with a friendly smile at the marina dive centre. All the kit was in excellent condition and set up ready for us on the boat, so time was used really efficiently and I was back at my hotel by 1.40pm. I hope to return to Fiji at some point and would definitely re-book for some more dives. Thank you to Wise for a top chat about Fijian rugby and Kava!
