You'll have a fully equipped workstation with utensils and ingredients and your local host will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic regional pasta recipe, handed down by generations of mammas and nonnas. We were a small group of 4 people, which meant that the teacher, Veronica, had plenty of time to learn and help each of us. It was a great experience to learn how to make pasta, first the dough, then shape it into Tortelloni and Tagliatelle and finally get to taste probably the best pasta we ever had. This was absolutely one of the highlights of our 3-day trip to Bologna and Moden!

A very special experience cooking with Paola in Bologna. Paola is a wonderful cook, teaching us to make pumpkin gnocchi, hand-rolled pasta and the best tiramisu in the world with patience and humor in her classic kitchen. Paola even invited a delightful university student to join us to assist in translation. It was a very special evening with delicious food and great conversations about living in Italy, all delivered in Paola's elegant dining room in her beautiful home. Our evening with Paola was the highlight of our two-week stay in Bologna. Even if you don't like to cook, this is an experience that should not be missed.

This was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Bologna! The class took place in our chef’s beautiful home, which instantly made the experience feel warm and authentic. We started with a glass of crisp Prosecco and learned to make three different kinds of pasta completely from scratch — each one more delicious than the last. The ingredients were unbelievably fresh, with herbs like sage picked straight from her garden. After cooking, we sat outside in her gorgeous garden and enjoyed our meal together — a perfect mix of laughter, great food, and wonderful company. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian cooking experience that feels both intimate and inspiring, this class is a must-do. I left full, happy, and ready to recreate these recipes at home!

Paolo was an absolutely amazing instructor and an even better host. We were welcomed into her beautiful home and her kitchen was our classroom. She patiently walked us through pasta making using family recipes and injected humor and history that made this a truly cultural experience. Thank you Paola!

We had a wonderful time and experience in Roberta’s home. She explained how to make the most amazing ravioli and tortellini, with lots of advice and guidance on the way. We very much enjoyed the final result, accompanied by other local delicacies and wine. A truly lovely evening.

Our day with Rosa was unbelievable! She was so lovely and welcoming, and patient! We were excited to learn how to make pasta from scratch, simple tiramisu in a cup, and a comfort food that will definitely make it into our soup season rotation! After the class, we went online and bought all the tools to make our own meals like this at home, including a countertop pizza oven, haha. Can’t wait to try these recipes taught to us by an absolute joy of a person. The only tip I’d give is to not eat so much pizza at the beginning (like I did), that you’re getting full by the end. And also, when they ask if there are any allergies, be sure to mention animals. She has two cats and that wasn’t an issue for us, but may be for some people. Book this class and have a blast!

We had a very nice experience at Veronica’s pasta cooking class. This took place in her beautiful historic apartment. Veronica went to great lengths and explained everything to us calmly and the result (our homemade pasta) was very delicious. In addition, we had a nice connection to our hostess directly through our conversations. It was really worth it and we had a special evening in Bologna. We can fully recommend the pasta course at Veronica!

The entire experience was incredible. Roberta and her husband are so welcoming and easy to talk to (Roberta speaks Italian and English and her husband primarily speaks Italian), and Roberta is a great teacher. We learned how to make tagliatelle con burro e salvia and tortellini agli (/ripieni di) spinaci in the beautiful kitchen, and enjoyed warm conversations about Italy, family and language. An amazing experience like no other - irreplaceable!
