Travel in a small group and enjoy a full-day journey combining one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval towns with an authentic Bohemian village.
After hotel pickup in Prague, we head to Český Krumlov. With your guide, you’ll explore both iconic highlights and quieter corners most visitors never find. The stroll usually includes visits to local artisans such as a jeweller, blacksmith, or leather craftsman. On warm days, we may taste local craft beer too.
We make a special stop in Holašovice, a tiny UNESCO-listed village, where we talk about Czech village life, traditions, and folklore. On most visits, we are welcomed by a local resident whose family has lived here for over 500 years, sharing everyday objects and personal stories of rural life.
We return to Prague in the early evening.

Cesky Krumlov Castle
We begin at the top — literally. After arriving early (before the big crowds), we’ll park above the town and start a guided walk through the castle complex (exteriors), taking in sweeping views over the rooftops and the Vltava River bens as we descend gently along a cobbled path. From there, we’ll explore what were once three separate historic towns — Latrán, the Old Town, and the Jewish Quarter. Each has its own unique vibe, and we take the time to enjoy it all. This isn’t a checklist march — we move at a relaxed, easy-going pace, stopping for photos, stories, and local insights. Along the way, we’ll discover hidden gems most tours skip — from tucked-away viewpoints to charming artisan shops and quiet corners that feel miles away from the main square. Cesky Krumlov
After the guided walk, you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy Český Krumlov at your own pace. Whether you feel like sipping coffee by the river, wandering through hidden lanes, browsing local craft shops, taking photos, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the time is yours. Your guide will happily recommend museums, viewpoints, cafés, scenic walks, or quiet spots based on your interests — without a fixed program or rushing from place to place. You’re free to explore what draws you most in the moment. Please note that access to castle interiors varies by season. The Castle Tower is open year-round (except Mondays), while other interiors are available only on guided tours. If you’re interested, your guide will be happy to advise on the best available options on the day. When it’s time to continue, we’ll meet at a convenient, pre-agreed spot near the center, so you won’t need to walk uphill again. Just relax — we’ll come pick you up by car. 5.00I highly recommend this project and we had a very good day. Our guide Jana was very professional and enthusiastic, explaining the history and legends of the Czech Republic to us all the way and taking care of our journey like a friend. We visited the local residents in the village and he was very respectful. The most memorable time was spent at CK, definitely a wonderland-like place. I can feel the refinement and importance of this travel agency for its customers, who try to be the best at every detail. Let's hope they get better.

5.00Having done the Kutná Hora tour with Ondřej, I was happy to join him and another small group for a tour of Český Krumlov and Holašovice . Like the other Czech Out Tour I went on the day before, the hotel pick-up and drop-off was a great touch and the all-inclusive tour was full of interesting sights and hidden gems. This one was a bit of a longer drive, but Český Krumlov was totally worth the trip. If you find yourself with an extra day and are looking to get out of Prague, I definitely recommend it! Ondřej made sure we had some personal time to explore the town on our own if we wanted and had some great suggestions on spots to specifically check out based on my interests. It really felt like I was hanging out with a local friend who was excited to show me around a place he loves. A highlight was definitely meeting Mr. Hošek at his farmhouse in Holašovice and getting to spend a little bit of time with him, learning about farming through the years in the Czech Republic.

We loved visiting Hrusavik, a UNESCO village, and seeing a small family museum with generations of history, as well as exploring the beautiful medieval town of Český Krumlov. Ondřej truly went above and beyond; he made making everything feel personal and relaxed. A truly memorable day!

5.00Our visit to Cesky krumlov was the second day we spent with Ondrej. Once again, the day was a wonderful experience with lots of additional information from Ondrej. His car was immaculate and very comfortable, he was very knowledgeable about the different areas and chose a great “off the beaten” track restaurant for lunch. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. A wonderful two days exploring areas outside of Prague.

5.00Ondrej was fantastic. Our full‑day tour to Holašovice and Český Krumlov felt almost private due to a small group, and his communication and punctual pickup were excellent. He shared a great overview of Czech history on the drive, and the visit to the traditional village home was fascinating. Český Krumlov looked magical with fresh snow, and lunch he arranged was wonderful. We returned to our hotel around 7 pm after a truly memorable day. We’ll definitely book more tours with Czech Out Tours and highly recommend Ondrej.

5.00Very personalized, it was just our family so we got to take our time in both the village and the town. Our guide was very good about pointing out hidden gems in each place with historical importance or which are highly recommended by locals. It was extremely informative on all fronts and a great experience for all of us overall, we had a lot of fun.

5.00The day trip to Český Krumlov and Holašovice (UNESCO) was a very nice and well organized experience. The guide was very attentive, friendly and always with good attitude, taking care of the whole group at all times. Although the tour was contracted in English and I do not speak English, the guide had the great willingness to explain everything also in Spanish, always translating so that I could fully understand and enjoy the tour. That made a big difference and is very much appreciated. In addition to being clear in his explanations in both English and Spanish, he was always happy, close and concerned for the well-being of all. I definitely recommend this tour and especially highlight the excellent work of the guide. Thank you very much Ondrej!🙌🏼
