Discover Český Krumlov the relaxed way — without the rushing typical of most day tours.
Travel in a small group and enjoy a full-day journey combining one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval towns with an authentic Bohemian village.
After hotel pickup in Prague, we head to Český Krumlov. With your guide, you’ll explore both iconic highlights and quieter corners most visitors never find. The stroll usually includes visits to local artisans such as a jeweller, blacksmith, or leather craftsman. On warm days, we may taste local craft beer too.
We make a special stop in Holašovice, a tiny UNESCO-listed village, where we talk about Czech village life, traditions, and folklore. On most visits, we are welcomed by a local resident whose family has lived here for over 500 years, sharing everyday objects and personal stories of rural life.
We return to Prague in the early evening.

Cesky Krumlov Castle
We begin at the top — literally. After arriving early (before the big crowds), we’ll park above the town and start a guided walk through the castle complex (exteriors), taking in sweeping views over the rooftops and the Vltava River bens as we descend gently along a cobbled path. From there, we’ll explore what were once three separate historic towns — Latrán, the Old Town, and the Jewish Quarter. Each has its own unique vibe, and we take the time to enjoy it all. This isn’t a checklist march — we move at a relaxed, easy-going pace, stopping for photos, stories, and local insights. Along the way, we’ll discover hidden gems most tours skip — from tucked-away viewpoints to charming artisan shops and quiet corners that feel miles away from the main square. After the guided walk, you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy Český Krumlov at your own pace. Whether you feel like sipping coffee by the river, wandering through hidden lanes, browsing local craft shops, taking photos, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the time is yours. Your guide will happily recommend museums, viewpoints, cafés, scenic walks, or quiet spots based on your interests — without a fixed program or rushing from place to place. You’re free to explore what draws you most in the moment. Please note that access to castle interiors varies by season. The Castle Tower is open year-round (except Mondays), while other interiors are available only on guided tours. If you’re interested, your guide will be happy to advise on the best available options on the day. When it’s time to continue, we’ll meet at a convenient, pre-agreed spot near the center, so you won’t need to walk uphill again. Just relax — we’ll come pick you up by car. 5.00Ondrej was fantastic. Our full‑day tour to Holašovice and Český Krumlov felt almost private due to a small group, and his communication and punctual pickup were excellent. He shared a great overview of Czech history on the drive, and the visit to the traditional village home was fascinating. Český Krumlov looked magical with fresh snow, and lunch he arranged was wonderful. We returned to our hotel around 7 pm after a truly memorable day. We’ll definitely book more tours with Czech Out Tours and highly recommend Ondrej.

5.00Very personalized, it was just our family so we got to take our time in both the village and the town. Our guide was very good about pointing out hidden gems in each place with historical importance or which are highly recommended by locals. It was extremely informative on all fronts and a great experience for all of us overall, we had a lot of fun.

5.00The day trip to Český Krumlov and Holašovice (UNESCO) was a very nice and well organized experience. The guide was very attentive, friendly and always with good attitude, taking care of the whole group at all times. Although the tour was contracted in English and I do not speak English, the guide had the great willingness to explain everything also in Spanish, always translating so that I could fully understand and enjoy the tour. That made a big difference and is very much appreciated. In addition to being clear in his explanations in both English and Spanish, he was always happy, close and concerned for the well-being of all. I definitely recommend this tour and especially highlight the excellent work of the guide. Thank you very much Ondrej!🙌🏼

5.0010/10 recommend!! Good size group of about 7 people were on the tour which was perfect. Ondrej literally was a wealth of information and had so much to share with us. The highlight of the trip is český Krumlov, of which Ondrej brought us to some of the best viewing points to see the city - and luckily we got granted with snowfall the night before, which made the city absolutely magical to see on Christmas Day. Thanks again Ondrej! También lo que me gustó del tour es que teniamos un acompañante que hablaba español y Ondrej, que también sabe español, hacía todo para informarle a él también de todo, aunque el tour era en inglés

5.00I don't normally give reviews but in this case Ondrej deserves one. This is a new business for Ondrej and he deserves all the support he can get. We took the Ceske Krumlov day tour in a new minibus with all the comforts you need. Ondrej was very knowledgeable and was pationate about providing that knowledge to us. On the day we went he provided still and sparkling water, a supply of snacks and to top that hot wine. I don't think many operators would do this. Our private tour of 7 were all english speakers bar one and Ondrej took the time to speak in Spanish also. When we stopped I realised the toilets were coin only and Ondrej provided coins. This shows that he thinks of everything. I could keep going but I won't. Ondrej is a guide who thinks of everything so you don't have to.

5.00The day trip was absolutely fantatsic. Andrew is an amazing guide/host. He is so well read about the places and it's history, culture,cusine. The entire experience was very memorable for us. The entire tour was very well planned and curated in a way that it ensured we got sufficient time to admire each location. 5.00The length of visit is awesome and the view of the attractions was amazing. The guide (Andrew) gave us plenty of time to explore without rushing and the explanation of the attractions were well explained. Furthermore, he does his best to ensure that our needs were met.
