  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide Niels was fantastic---informative and helpful. We left Geneva by bus at 8:30 a.m. to visit the alpine town of Charmonix. When I was told the basic price we paid did not include the cable car for an Alps overview, plus the mountain train to a glacier and ice cave, Niels arranged for us to pay an additional $287 for the 2 tickets. It took 20 minutes from Charmonix to go up to 13,500 feet by cable car. The view of Mont Blanc and other peaks was spectacular. But be aware––the sudden drop in oxygen made me dizzy and nauseous. After lunch in Chamonix village, we took a mountain train and gondola to the tip of a glacier, which is melting from global warming. The glacier has caves carved into the side, and we were able to tour inside. The bus from Charmonix took us back to Geneva, arriving after 6 pm. Again, great tour guide.

  This is a magnificent trip. You get a lot for the value of the trip. Neil’s was AMAZING. Highly recommend!

  Great guide and Mont Blanc was spectacular. Guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Chamonix was a nice little ski village.

  Have used a lot of day trips w/ Viator & this one is one of the best day trips I’ve been on. 1st of all, Nhiels is an excellent guide, knows so much of the Swiss life, but he also knows so much of Mont Blanc too. So nice on top of the French alps, most notably Mont Blanc. The glacier caves are awesome too. Thank you Nhiels for an awesome experience!

  Despite the rainy weather, our day trip turned out to be absolutely phenomenal—proof that even a little rain can’t dampen a well-curated adventure! Every detail felt intentional, and the rain somehow made the landscapes *more* enchanting! A massive thank you to our tour guide, Neils, whose flexibility and positivity truly saved the day! When the weather shifted, he effortlessly adjusted the schedule, suggesting cozy indoor stops and alternate routes to avoid downpours, all while keeping the group’s energy high. His resourcefulness shone through—whether sharing food recommendations, or rearranging timings to maximize our enjoyment. His deep knowledge and passion for the area never wavered, and he even turned rainy setbacks into fun anecdotes, making the day feel *more* unique rather than compromised. What stood out most was Neils’s genuine dedication to ensuring everyone had a memorable time. A five-star experience that turned unpredictable weather into part of the adventure. Highly recommend! 🌧️✨
