Immerse yourself into the french lifestyle with a traditional lunch which consists in homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of Champagnes.

Be welcomed at 10:30am in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House in the middle of Champagne vineyards (Le Clos Corbier). During the visit of the cellars dug in the 1850’s, you will start with the discovery of a traditional press and learn all about the secrets of the champagne making process. Take a seat and enjoy your tasting class with a champagne quiz then train your nose to identify the different aromas and flavors that can be found in champagne through an olfactory workshop. Get competitive as you get to identify blindly 3 different champagnes from small wineries all while eating some local snacks. Immerse yourself into the french lifestyle with a casual lunch which consists of homemade regional specialties like pâté en croute, Langres, or pink biscuit cake paired with a variety of champagnes. You will also get to taste the local red wine Coteaux Champenois as well as the regional liquor Ratafia. (the lunch can be adapted to allergies or specific diets). Your Champagne experience ends after lunch around 01:30pm.

5.00Have done many vineyard visited and this was one of the best. We were presented with an interesting description of the process of making champagne and the best part is that after we were given a very fun and engaging "quiz" that let us review what we had learned while testing our skills as smelling different wine nuances. It was a great idea that really helped us to remember what we learned while having a fun time and tasting yummy champagnes. And then we had a delicious lunch. It was a great tour.

5.00Take a look with one of the smaller champagne houses and you will be surprised. Nice setting - lots of info on the proces of making the champagne- a fun quiz and of course a good variety of champagnes. Add an enthusiastic guide and a really nice lunch and you have a lovely half day to spent. Highly recommended. And take a stroll after the tour through the vineyards or town ti even the alcohol in your blood 🙏

5.00Very competent guide and course instructor! The champagne tasting was entertaining And amusing. Champagne cork shooting with the crossbow has also been well received. The final lunch was delicious and plentiful. Overall, very good value for money.

5.00Enchanting experience. Highly recommend! Emma was our tour guide and she did a first rate job, especially as part of our group spoke English and the other part spoke French. She explained the history and process of champagne making without it ever sounding like a boring lecture. The tasting was enlightening as well as entertaining. Lunch was delicious and fun! Perfect for one person or larger group.
