Begin your amazing tour by meeting your local guide in front of the Municipal Market, the locals’ main meeting point for hanging out. Being built more than a century ago, the also-known as Dimotiki Agora was established to celebrate Crete’s unification with Greece.
Old Venetian Harbor
Through the windy cobblestone back streets, you’ll explore the lesser-known parts of the Venetial Old Port while hearing tales and myths about unique old buildings, famous locals, and rebellions, and keep in mind that although these stories sound like fiction, they are so real! 5.00When we arrived in Chania I was so grateful I had booked this tour. We got to see places on Chania that we would have never seen on our own and learn the very interesting history of the town. Andonis, our tour guide was amazing! He is so pleasant and easy to talk to. You could tell he loved giving tours and teaching about the history of Chania. He took us through little ally ways and pointed out things we would have completely missed. The dinner was delicious, the most wonderful tuna I have ever had. I would 100% recommend this tour.

5.00I had a wonderful sunset tour with Adonis as our guide, the informal history lesson was easy to understand and the hidden gems all intwined to make the experience and understanding of Crete so much easier, the sunset was magnificent, and the 4 course dinner absolutely delicious so beautifully presented with the pairing of wines a night to remember!

5.00We spent a week in Crete and this tour was one of the highlights, mainly due to our tour guide Andonis. He was warm and gracious and a pleasure to spend the evening with. He shared lots of tips on places to dine and drink and even responded to texts (promptly!) days later when we asked for more recommendations, which were all excellent! I strongly recommend this tour!!

5.00We explored Chania on the Bohemian Sunset Tour with Adonis and it was incredible! Adonis took us through enchanting sections of the Port Town of Chania, away from the main tourist-filled streets. We explored hidden courtyard gardens, local restaurants and taverns, drank delicious cocktails, and arrived at a secret spot to watch the breath-taking sunset over the Venetian Old Port. He did such an amazing job of showing us around, that we visited the location again the next day on our own, making us feel like locals! An exciting bonus was the mini-movie he shot of our group exploring some of the local streets to create a real-life perspective of what we were experiencing. He accompanied us to a gourmet dinner with wine pairings and helped translate along the way. Adonis guided us to parts of Chania that he clearly treasured and was personally proud to share with visitors. It was a magical evening!

5.00On a girl's trip, we did this tour on our first evening in Chania, Crete with our guide, Adonis. It was a great way to get a sense of the city, its history, and recommendations for the rest of our stay. Adonis was very knowledgeable and FUN! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, great meal, wine, and raki. The sunset was amazing. Mostly, Adonis made us feel like we made a friend in Chania. We spent the rest of our time in Greece wishing we were back in Chania. I highly recommend this experience, Adonis, and Rebecca at Grecian Lux.

5.00Rebecca with Grecian Lux planned the most amazing trip for us to Greece. We visited Athens, Crete, and Santorini over 10 days. We spent a day and a half in Athens, 3 days in Crete, 3 in Santorini, and another day in Athens before flying home. She arranged every little detail for us from domestic flights, transportation, hotels, tours, and more! She was highly responsive and gave me great advice during planning and in preparation for our trip. She definitely helped me stay on budget and never tried to over sell us. You could tell when we checked in at our various villas and hotels that the people there know her well and she has a great reputation. There was even an app that documented our entire itinerary, gave tips on Greece in general and each for city, suggested restaurants and other things for us to do while there. It was incredibly helpful to use while there to keep us on track. She even had our first tour guide help me set up WhatsApp so that I could communicate with her at any time throughout the trip. The tour guides that she uses are top notch. They are energetic, personable, experts in their area, and very professional. You can tell that they love their jobs! The villas and hotels were those that I never could have found on my own and if I did, it would have been only after hours and hours that I do not have. She was such a time saver! The only thing I booked myself was our international flight. We did an array of tours in Athens that helped us get to know the city and it’s different villages, the Acropolis, the best food and drinks Athens has to offer. Our tours in Crete gave us a glimpse of the mountain villages, countryside, and of course the port area. In Santorini we did a tour that included the entire island….food, wine, history, and all of the best photo spots! I highly recommend working with Rebecca at Grecian Lux! We will definitely use her again for our next trip to Greece.

5.00Adonis was fun, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. He took us to places he wanted to show us and also took us to places we asked to see. I had requested a low carb, high protein dinner. We went to Boheme and the dinner was excellent. We wanted a local draft beer and he found it for us.
