Your cruise will depart from DOCK 3, located at the very end of Stokes Hill Wharf, city side. Crew members will meet you under the large blue umbrellas and will commence boarding 30-minutes prior to the cruise departure time. Generally you will leave Stokes Hill Wharf, travel along the Esplanade cruising along at 4 knots past the Larrakeyah Naval barracks, Cullen Bay and Fannie Bay. Your experienced skipper reserve the right to change the route subject to tidal conditions, guest’s safety and comfort. Tidal conditions determine how close to the coast the 'Charles Darwin' can operate. Hear knowledgeable commentary from the crew on Darwin History, Cyclone Tracey and the bombing of Darwin. In the past there have been sightings of crocodiles, dolphins, turtles and dugongs, however there is no guarantee you will see wildlife on your cruise. You will experience a Sunset on Darwin Harbour followed by Darwin’s skyline lit up at night.

5.00Had a lovely cruise, food was good and loved that the called the people with dietary requirements up 1st. Plenty to choose from. The kangaroo and croc was cooked beautifuly

5.00Lovely staff, everything ran right to time, brilliant food selection in the buffet (including crocodile and kangaroo), we also enjoyed that the three of us could sit down at our own table from the outset - made it a really special family experience - very relaxed and professional.

5.00What a delightful evening! Buffet was excellent and all you could eat and the crew were superb, especially when an older gentleman proposed on the front deck. That and the timing of the sunset over the harbour made the evening so special. Thank you to all the crew.

4.00We were in Darwin for our Anniversary- this was one of the high points of our visit. The seating allows good interaction between tables. The upper deck is fabulous. The staff were brilliant. For a vegetarian the buffet lacked choices but this was not too problematic. All in all fabulous!

3.00Due to my allergies, I was instructed to go up first to select my meal, hoping for no cross contamination of tongs ect. I got my meal and ate it whilst my wife who's birthday we were out celebrating waited. Watching all the guest get up and collect their meals and the last group being sent up, my wife had still not been instructed to get her meal, yet I was finished mine, I asked a crew member when my wife was able to have a meal, to be informed she should have gone up with me right at the beginning....unfortunately the crew member who originally sent me up did not advise us my wife should go up too, we were of the impression allergy affected guests were the only initial guests to get up. Very poor communication.
The cost was a bit high...

3.00The cost was a bit high for food that was okay and having to pay for drinks on top. The boat itself was beautiful as were the staff, on the whole a most enjoyable evening.
