Join us for a 2.5-hour group boat cruise through the cherished tidal creeks of Charleston, South Carolina. This excursion includes an enlightening hour-long stop on the picturesque Morris Island, giving you the opportunity to explore its untouched beach, collect seashells, search for shark teeth, and admire the historic lighthouse.
During the journey to and from the island, our naturalist captain will provide in-depth insights into the local ecosystems and historical context. Stay attentive as your captain highlights and describes the diverse wildlife you may encounter, such as Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, wading birds, pelicans, sea turtles, and more. This cruise offers a perfect blend of education, adventure, and natural beauty, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.

Dress for the weather with clothes and shoes that are suitable for beach walking. Comfortable, weather-appropriate attire and sturdy footwear will help you fully enjoy the experience on Morris Island.
Please note there is a stop at Morris Island where travelers can visit for about 45 minutes to an hour. During this time, you can walk around and explore the island. However, this may pose an issue for wheelchair accessibility. Travelers have the option to remain onboard during this stop if they choose.
Restrooms are available before departure. Please note that there are no restrooms available for the duration of the tour.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for departure to check in at the Charleston Outdoor Adventures office. This ensures a smooth and timely start to your adventure.

5.00I have been on several boat tours but this one was hands down the best ever. The guide was very informative and helpful. The island was wonderful walking along the shore gathering shells and enjoying the water view. We seen lots of dolphins and our captain knew how to move the boat so we all had plenty of time to watch them play in the water. If you take one boat cruise take this one!!!!!

5.00KD was very knowledgeable, fun, respectful, kind, and helpful on our boat trip to Morris Island. It was fun seeing the island and searching for shells. KD answered all questions as if they were the first time she heard them. A very pleasant day out on the water learning about the waterways and wildlife around Charleston.
Great trip through the marsh to a quiet island

5.00A friend recommended this trip and it did not disappoint. Captain George gave us a great overview of the marsh and then helped us find sharks teeth. The island had tons of seashells and sand dollars. Hearing the waves undisturbed by other people was so relaxing. We saw dolphins on the way to the lighthouse and back. Great customer service, would highly recommend.
Journey through the Low Country ecosystem

5.00The journey through the waters of the low country was amazing. Chris was so knowledgeable and passionate as he taught us about the ecosystem. We learned so much in a short period of time. We loved seeing and learning about dolphins and birds and high and low tides. It was the best two and a half hour trip.

5.00Matt did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable and funny. The crowd was 10-12 people, and that was the right number for his catamaran. Matt said that we would see dolphins, which is the whole reason we wanted to go, and he did not disappoint. We saw loads of them, even baby dolphin pups. The whole experience was fun. I would highly recommend his tour. My only recommendation would have been water after we went ashore when we got back on the boat. That small gesture would have been nice. As for the fee and length of time there, it was fair and reasonable. The whole 2-hour trip ended up taking like 3 hours, so plan your day accordingly. The 11:00 tour went till about 2:45ish. Highly recommend this tour! You rock, Matt!

5.00Was a great experience!! Glad to have a rooftop for the little rain. Perfect amount of time and the guide was very pleasant and had great history knowledge of the area as well as fascinating ecological info!
