You will be picked up from Tangier's port or from your hotel or closest pick-up point in Tangier and taken in an air-conditioned van for a private sightseeing tour of Chefchaouen . A bilingual driver e will accompany you on this tour. 09:00 am: Pick up from your Hotel in Tangier and drive to the bleu town of Chefchaouen, you will past the spectacular Rif Mountain and feast your eyes on the rolling landscapes. upon arrival your driver will introudce you to your local guide in chefchaouen. explore the white and blue city of Chefchaouen, and see its well- preserved Arab-Andalusia art and traditions. Chaouen, or Chefchaouen as in Berber language, is one of the most beautiful towns of the Rif Mountains. It is the last rampart before the Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. A holy city with about twenty mosques and sanctuaries, it has charming powder- blue houses as well as the trademark dazzling lime-washed houses with blue doors. Free time for lunch and departure to Tetouan.
Tetouan
Upon arrival to Tetouan your driver will intrdouce you to your local guide and begin your Tetouan tour by visiting Tetouan’s old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The old medina in Tetouan was once a pirate hub and the capital of Spain during colonial times. The Romans destroyed Tetouan and it was repopulated in the 16th century. Tetouan was a refuge for Jews, Moors, and Moriscos who escaped the Spanish inquisition and many people in the city still speak Spanish. Transfer back to Tangier END OF THE EXCURSION

5.00Very well organized and informative. The guide in Chefchaouen was very knowledgeable and it was a nice experience. We visited Tetuan also and it was really worth visiting our guide Hakan made it very special. He brought us to very unusual places and really made our trip very special. Make sure you ask for Hakan when visiting Tetuan. The driver was also very accommodating and professional. He recommended a restaurant to us Tangerina and it was one of the best meals we had. I really recommend this tour, each city had something different to see. All went very well and we were really well taken care of.

5.00In the summer expect it to be really hot. Bring your cooling rags, your water bottles and your fans, but don’t miss out on this excellent tour. This is such a unique city with so many photo opportunities and once-in-a-lifetime shots just waiting to be taken and posted! The guides are super knowledgeable and if your tour is anything like my group, you’ll even learn the Arab word for “Come on, let’s go!”. You’ll have the opportunity to buy a handmade artisan-crafted rug from the Berbers and savor the excellent mint tea. Lunch is at a picturesque site that offers every kind of seafood imaginable, but for those of you who don’t partake of the offerings of the sea, they have beef and chicken tagine, which is delicious. I recommend the chicken tagine with lemon and olives! Prepare yourself for a lot of walking up and down, but with absolutely gorgeous views.

5.00Very, very rich experience. Khalid, our driver, was adorable. Punctual, extremely pleasant and fluent, provided us with a quiet and enriching trip, giving us precious information about Morocco and its culture. The local guides were also helpful and friendly, traveling with us through the main points of interest of the medinas of Chefchaouen and Tetouan, giving us the necessary information for a more profitable experience. I was impressed with the ease in communication, everyone who accompanied us on the tour spoke more than one foreign language. I came back happy not only for knowing the places, but mainly for human contact. Morocco is a lovely country. I intend to come back!
