Discover the Caves of Hercules and Cape Espartel on a scenic tour of Tangier. Enjoy a camel ride and free time.

This is a unique experience in Tangier. After picking up the customer in Tangier, we will take a scenic walk around the city, passing the Royal Palace and making a 15-minute stop at Perde Cares to take souvenir photos.

We will continue our journey to the meeting point between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, known as Cape Espartel. Here we will make a 30-minute stop to enjoy the scenery of the beaches and take photos.

Then we will head to Playa del Sol, where our camels await us for a 30-minute tour. Afterwards, we will take our vehicles to continue to the Caves of Hercules, where we will have 30 minutes to visit them.

Finally, we will return to the pickup point to drop off our customers.

This tour is ideal for families, couples and friends.

We were quite disappointed with this tour. When we arrived at the camel riding location it was quite sad. It was on a hill with trash everywhere and the camels did not appear to be well taken care of, which was sad. We did walk down a ton of stairs to arrive at the beach. This was a difficult climb back up for a few of our older people in the group. The saddle on the camel was not secured so when my sister in law’s camel got up the saddle slid off and she landed on the sand. Luckily the camel side stepped her and she didn’t get hurt. The man leading the camels seemed to be more worried about getting his tip than helping people off the camels!! The AC on the van didn’t not seem to working great. The van never got cooled off. It was so hot we didn’t even want to see the caves so we skipped it. I would not recommend this tour. This is probably why it was not an excursion option from the cruise line. However it was cheap for a reason!

Customs delayed us by 3 hours but they still waited for us and gave us an expedited tour despite the dark.

Driver shared much information about the areas along the way. Lighthouse very scenic. Hercules Cave accepts only dirhams, cash ONLY, exact change ONLY, and no nearby ATMs. Camel ride was going to be along a road in a dirt parking lot. We requested to ride on the beach so they graciously moved camels down hillside to the beach and we had a great ride there. Driver will take all your photos with your camera if you ask. Very fun! Dropped us off in the Medina (old town) where we quickly got lost in the maze of alleys and all the shops. Fascinating place. Walked downhill backed to the ship. Many locals try to get you to buy their stuff and be your guide to everything; just politely decline.
