He answered all our questions, accommodated every special request, and shared fascinating insights into Chinese and Sichuan culture beyond just cooking. 5.00A must activities when visiting Chengdu. Our guide Lance first gave a tour through the local food market where he explained some of the key ingredients of the Sichuan cuisine. On the same market Lance bought us some local fruit which we got to eat with a cup of tea after arriving at their kitchen. While cooking five staple dishes, the staff guided us through the making process. Lance, thank you for the great afternoon!

5.00Had a great experience cooking authentic sichuan food and learning about the local cuisine from Lance. He showed us around a nearby market before taking us to a class taught by a local chef. Everything was well prepared and ready for us to use. The dishes were excellent!

5.00Lance was an incredible guide! He took us through the market, answered all our food questions, and led us to a fantastic cooking class. He also let us store our luggage in the cooking classroom early so we didn’t have to carry it around the market. Highly recommend!
