Private transportation

5.00Our izakaya night with Hibi was easily one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met her, her energy was infectious, fun, and welcoming. She guided us through a series of spots we never would have discovered (or even gotten into!) without a local who truly knows the scene. The evening was eye-opening in the best way, learning about the culture behind the drinks, trying delicious specialties we would have never ordered on our own, and experiencing the vibe of places that only insiders seem to know about. It was such a memorable, delicious, and genuinely unique experience and Hibi made it happen.

5.00My husband and I did the Tokyo Secret: Kichijoji Small-Group Food & Bar Hopping tour with Hibi on our second night in Japan, and it was the perfect introduction to izakaya culture for first-time visitors. Hibi was a wonderful guide and took us to several fantastic bars and restaurants in Kichijoji's "Harmonica Alley." She adjusted the stops based on our group size and how busy each place was, which kept everything moving smoothly. We had the most delicious gyoza I've ever had, and we got to sample some traditional Okinawan food that we haven't had anywhere else. We were also introduced to shochu sodas, which have become our beverage of choice while in Japan. After exploring this yokocho with Hibi, we felt confident visiting other yokocho areas in different cities throughout our trip. She answered all our questions and helped us feel settled right away. I would absolutely book another tour with her, and I highly recommend this one for anyone who wants delicious food and drinks in traditional Japanese izakayas!

5.00Hibi was awesome, I went with a couple friends and we were totally unfamiliar with izakaya culture so we pulled together to book a tour with Hibi. Not only was the experience fun and engaging, she also answered our curiosities about Japanese subculture and we walked away with so much more than expected. 10/10 would book again next time I'm in Tokyo again

5.00I am a strong believer that if you want to experience a country like a local, but you don’t speak the language or you don’t look like the people, the best way to immerse yourself safely is with a travel guide. And if you’re gonna do a travel guide in Japan, there’s no one better to be guided by than Hibi. She was recommended to us by a family friend who had lived in Japan for 10+ years and trust me when I say: He knew was he was talking about. I've since recommended her to four other friends in two different times of the year and they absolutely loved it. When I’m back, I will see Hibi again.

5.00In November I booked the tour for four friends led by Hibi. Overall It was a great time to experience several of the bars in the Kichijoji harmonica area . We got to sample many different foods that were unique and checked out several small places and all had a friendly atmosphere. Hebi was great in planning places to visit and engaging chats with the locals, to where you felt very much at home. If you want to learn about and enjoy the Kichijoji harmonica area, I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00Joined the tour on a Friday night, the atmosphere was chilled but great. Went to several Bars in Kichijoji and came in touch with the locals, which was very great. Something you definitely wont find by yourself. Would definitely recommend this tour again.
