This event was fantastic! Very long and tiring but worth every minute. I contacted Sat Mexico Tours to get pricing and ensure pickup and all went smoothly. Bring snacks yall because it’s a lot lol. I did and it definitely held me until lunch. We received pickup times evening before. Pickup was at 6:35am at our hotel. We spent 1 hour just picking people up. Bus was cold and comphy. Rafa was our tour guide, he was awesome. Funny, knowledgeable, friendly and soooo good at teaching us the information rather than other tour guides I heard that were very monotonous. He definitely helped bus time pass quicker. The first stop was a rest/potty break but really just a HUGE TOURIST TRAP that’s pushed because the items were ‘made in the Mayan Community’. It’s just cheap items made heavy in bulk and prices were high and listed in USD not pesos. Obsidian Bracelets and rocks were $50+. Everything was just so pricey we got drinks and snacks and waited. $18 for 2 drinks, 2 chips and peanuts. (This would be $8 in other parts of Mexico) Once we got to Chichen Itza, exact same items were $5-15. So big yikes for the people who did buy from other place. Lunch buffet was definitely different than the Mexican food I am used to (SA,TX) but it was unique and delicious. Drinks were $4 USD. Life Jackets and Lockets were $4 each too. All inclusive was a big price difference but the difference was just $50 so I wouldn’t recommend getting it. I wish we did spend more time in the Cenote and Valladolid. We have 2 hours to eat and see the Cenote so we had to eat fast to swim. The Cenote was cold, magical and so nice compared to rivers back home. The Valladolid was so pretty and full of life but we spent all our time in the tequila tasting which was just a whole speech to buy their bottle as it’s better. I’d suggest passing this to actually explore the shopping/town. Very long and tiring day but beautiful sights, amazing experiences and a great time made it so worth it.

Enjoyed the trip with a very friendly and humorous tour guide. We were the first one to be picked up and last one to be dropped from the hotel and that increased the tour duration to 14 hours.

This was an awesome experience made especially memorable by our fantastic guide, Cesar!! His knowledge and passion for the Mayan culture is contagious. We learned so much about Chichen Itza. Seeing one of the Seven Wonders of the World was so inspiring. Follow Cesar's advice. Get the umbrella and drink water. It's HOT and the shaded areas are crowded. Going to the cenote was memorable! The property is beautiful and relaxing. But the cenote itself is breathtaking!! Swimming there was a once in a lifetime experience. It was thrilling and very refreshing. Our trip to Villadoloid was short because we had so much fun at Chichen Itza and the cenote. But it was a lovely town. We are so glad we booked this excursion! Cesar was the ultimate guide! Knowledgeable, passionate and funny! We have already recommended this to many of our friends visiting Cancun!

Our trip was great! Moto, Norma, and Eduardo were so personable and educational. The sights were beautiful and we both loved learning more about the Mayan culture. If you have only one tour to take, take this one!!
