A lot of time wasted at shops before going to Chechen Itza. Not long at the pyramid and a lot of time at small shops to try to get you to buy souvenirs.

Luis was an exceptional guide. The tour is full-on. A great day if you want to experience something different than beach and also if you want to learn more about Mayan culture and history. A few notes: - We were picked up from Tulum at 6:30am. Pickups continue until 8-8:30am through Playa del Carmen. Keep this in mind if you are joining from Tulum. Good thing is first drop off point is also Tulum. - There is one hour time difference between Quintana Roo and Chichen itza. You arrive at Chichen itza at 10:50 local time (11:50 tulum time) - the Cenote is amazing! Simply beautiful. - I don’t think the upgrade is worth it. 17 usd for life vest, locker and a non-alcoholic drink. You can rent them for 60 pesos in the place. - the lunch is average. - Valladolid stop is great. Again different vibes, colourful houses, beautiful church. - the tour was attended by ~60 people in one bus. Overall this is a great tour. I totally recommend. But please keep in mind that it is a long day. Lois, thank you again!

The main reason for doing this trip was to get to Chichen Itza. The cenote was cool, but the extra stops were not entirely needed, and sometimes felt a little scammy. They really wanted you to buy their tequila and souvenirs, and the tour guide Cesar felt like he was probably getting a kick-back from it. I recommend buying the all-inclusive from the start, otherwise you’re waiting in lines to get your entry ticket to Chichen Itza which would not be worth the hassle in the hot sun!

Great whole day tour that includes Chichen Itza, buffet lunch, a truly beautiful cenote and a stop in Valladolid. I can highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a convenient way to get Chichen Itza and would like to combine several activities in one day. Hugo, our guide, was excellent and gave a great overview on Maya culture in the past and present. Time at Chichen Itza is 2 hours which can be a bit tight if you want to explore all ruins in more detail. But for us it worked out very well. The lunch buffet was very tasty, don’t miss the taco station (!), and swimming in the cenote was a special treat. Keep in mind that the tour includes riding on a bus for several hours, esp pick up/ drop off of guests along the Riviera Maya can be a bit lengthy. Still, we can highly recommend it and would totally do it again!

This trip was amazing. Eduardo, the bus driver, and Anthony, our tour guide, were outstanding. They shared deep and insightful information about the city and many aspects of Mayan civilization. Everything was organized and ran on time. They were patient with everyone on the bus and communicated clearly throughout the trip. Tony made the experience even more special with his great sense of humor and funny jokes. I highly recommend this tour. Julian

Great time, busy schedule, guide was very informative and chatted the whole way out. Too much time at the first "mayan blessing" site which is an organized vendor sales experience. Good food at the Cenote and a nice way to cool off. Enjoyed the tequila tasting at the last stop, but no time to do anything else.
